Chapter 8 (Rival II)

-Chapter 8-

Ryan:

I introduced Megan to Cassey and Kaity before we left, so I could finally ask Cassey about the plan.

We exited the gate and let Megan and Kaity leave before us. "Cassey, can you come with me for a bit?" I asked while stopping her from walking forward. She agreed and I led her somewhere beside the gate.

"You know Megan is my kindergarden friend right?" I asked. "Yeah, you just told me and Kaity that a while ago." she replied. "Soo about her......can you become my pretend girlfriend, so that you know, she'll eventually get jealous." I said. I said the last part faster than the rest, because I always felt embarrassed when I say it, even to myself. At first her face turned red, then she just nodded. "I'll take that as a yes. We'll start tomorrow." I said while seeing Cassey walk home.

-Home-

I got a bag of chips, then entered my room upstairs. I laid down on my bed, and looked on my phone. 5:37 pm, it said. I decided to take a short nap before dinner, so I stood up and changed into cassual clothes, then laid back down.

......I was inside a black box. I heard familiar voices coming from all around the place.

"I couldn't stand you being with another girl."

"I like you, I always have."

More voices flooded the whole place, then I heard Cassey's voice.

"-ke up Ryan, WAKE UP."

I sat up seing Cassey in front of me. "Ryan, are you awake?" she asked. "Huh, what's happening?" I asked in confusion. Cassey's face had a mixture of worry and fear. "Your maid said you never woke up since yesterday." she said while giving me a cup of water. "Why are you already in your uniform?" I asked. "It's 6:48 in the morning already, have to get to school. "Why are you here?" I asked again. "Don't ask me that now, and go dress up and eat breakfast." she exclaimed.

I hurriedly took a bath and put my uniform on. I saw Cassey sitting on my couch, waiting for me to finish. I stuffed my face with toast and headed off with Cassey.

-School-

"Don't forget Cassey. Today you are officially my "Pretend Girlfriend"." I said with a smirk on my face. "Yeah Yeah." she replied. I held her hand and walked to school.
