"There." Noah said to her while looking into her eyes.
Noah lied down on the bed next to Elle and moved his head towards Elle to see her. There was silence for a few minutes.
"What did you want to ask Elle." Noah broke the silence.
"Huh, oh yeah I wanted to ask you that what were the promises that you were talking about." Elle ignored what just happened.
"Well. I guess you didn't remember anything, well it's a long story Elle." Noah responded.
Elle got up from the bed and sat up,
"Well... not exactly." Elle laughed.
"Why are you laughing." Noah was confused.
"I am laughing because I got it now that why were you hinting me and then Katy all the deep dialogues you were saying to me... She looked at Noah and smiled... So that I remember that you and I had something." Elle finished.
"Okay Elle very funny... Noah said sarcastically... But still you don't remember."
"It's not like I don't remember anything I remember our first kiss which was at the booth that Lee and I made plus I remember what happened after that you told me, she quoted Noah's lines,'you are the only girl who doesn't fall on my feet and it is driving me crazy it's one of the thing I like about you, sweet you are not to afraid call me out on things.' remember Noah."
Noah got up and nodded.
"You know why I forgot you only you because it was the most unexpected thing that happened. I never imagined to kiss you, be with you and never in my whole life I thought I will fall in love with you."
Noah at this point had watery eyes but didn't cry.
"So what else do you remember." Noah asked Elle.
"Hmm oh I remember we had a relationship that we kept a secret. I don't remember the promises plus I just remember that I droped you at the airport. Oh yeah you said I love you. I just have glimpses that I told Lee umm." She held her head.
"Hey don't stress it's okay at least you remember." Noah side hugged Elle.
Elle removed her hands and took Noah's hand she got up,
"Come on I have to show you something." Elle took Noah outside the hotel.
They came to the garden and they lay under the stars.
"So this is your favourite place I guess." Noah smiled widely.
"Yeah and your must me hollywood sign I believe." Elle laughed.
"Yeah." Noah replied.
They looked at each other and Elle spoke,
"I forgot everything right about us, all the memories we made but no matter what happens my heart would have never forgotten you that's why I always felt like there was something missing and it was you." Elle cried but she was happy.
Noah stared at her.
"Noah Flynn." Elle called Noah.
"Yeah." Noah came out of Elle's trance.
Elle took Noah's hand and placed it on her heart.
"This... She gestured Noah... will always have a special place for you." Elle while looking at Noah.
Noah who couldn't control anymore a small tear came out of his eyes. Elle got up and hugged Noah while he was laying down.
"I think it's late and you should sleep now it's a big day for you tomorrow." Elle mumbled into Noah's ear.
They got up and went into the hotel and said goodnight to each other.
Noah's room
"So." Lee looked at Noah expecting a good answer.
"Yeah she remembers but not everything." Noah responded.
"Well not bad I am happy for you, after all she is Elle." Lee smiled.
Noah nodded. They changed clothes and went to bed.
"Shelly." Noah whispered, he smiled and closed his eyes.
Elle's room
Elle changed her clothes took her medicine and went to bed.
"Noah." Elle smiled and closed her eyes.
