Chapter Two: The Date

Me: Andrew!

Andrew: What?

Me: Do the disclaimer!

Andrew: Fine.

Andrew: *sighs*

Andrew: GhostQueen isn't Rick so she doesn't own the characters, only the plot.

Leonie: Andrew! Come here!

Andrew: Coming!

Me: On with the story!

Previous: "Andrew happened," I say as I get up and walk into the throne room.

Reyna and Nico instantly understood and ran over to me. Reyna sat down and let me sit on her lap and hug her while crying, and Nico sat down by us and rubbed my back.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Nico said.

"I won't tell them, I'll show them and make them feel the pain I feel." I get up and bring when I first met Andrew to my mind and I push my feelings to the whole room.

The gods and goddesses scream out in pain as I show them everything that has happened to me.

When I get to Andrew kissing Leonie, I stop and open my eyes, sucking in all the pain and grief and everything else I felt.

"I'm gonna kill him. I'm gonna kill that fucking cheater," Nico yells.

"Usually I would yell at you about language, but I agree. I knew I should've persuaded Persephone to join the Hunters," Artemis scolded herself.

"If it's ok, I would like to think about it, Lady Artemis."

She looked at me, shocked. "Of course!"

"Great!" Under my breath, I muttered, "Not like I'm in to guys, anyway."

"What was that? Sorry, I didn't catch it," Reyna said.

"I, uh, d-didn't say anything. Nico, did you say something?"

"Wut?"

"You said something?"

"Wait, wut?"

"Anyway," Zeus and Athena said.

"What are we going to do about Andrew?" asked Hestia.

"Pretend we don't know," I say. When everyone looks at me, I continue. "I ask questions, like what he thinks of Leonie and just make him nervous in general. Then, I walk into his room, and when he and Leonie try to make excuses, in a really calm voice, I say that I hope he and Leonie workout better than us because he won't find another girl that would go through Tartarus for him."

Everyone stares at me in shock so I just shrug. "Or I could just confront him about it."

That's when everyone starts clapping.

"That is an amazing plan!" Reyna exclaims.

"Huh. I can help you if you want, follow them in the shadows," Nico offers.

"I can get Thanatos and we will both help as well," says Hades.

"Ok, because I'll need all help I can get! Thank you so much, guys!" I say, excited for what's to come.

The next day, I wake up and find Nico.

"So today, can you get your dad to follow Leonie? That way I can have you come with me and I'll go on a 'date' with Andrew and you can help me see if anything is suspicious."

"Deal." Nico shadow traveled out.

I look around and find Andrew talking to Leonie.

"Hey, Andrew!"

He looks up. "Yes?"

"Are you busy today?"

"No." I notice his hesitation before answering and his glance at Lola.

I pretend not to notice as I ask, "So, do you want to go on a date, then?"

"Sure!" He sounds relieved.

"Sweet! Meet you at the lake at seven, after dinner?"

"Sounds good!"

I walk over to my cabin and wait for Nico to arrive, which he does shortly after.

"Did you notice his hesitation and his glance at Leonie?" I ask Nico as he arrives.

"Yeah, and I got both dad and Thanatos to watch Leonie."

"Thank you so much!!!" I exclaim and kiss Nico's cheek.

"No problem, now, what should we do for the 'date?'"

At 7:05

"Ok, here comes Andrew, so be ready," Nico says and blends into the shadows.

" Persephone! Sorry I'm late, I...needed to...find my shoe, yeah. Malcolm, uh, Malcolm, he took it," Andrew says, proud of himself for coming up with a good excuse.

"Oh, well, sit down," I say. For the 'date,' I had Nico and Hestia help me with creating a picnic. We had all kinds of food, like steak and dessert, but also drinks-NOT alcoholic, but ones like diet coke, water, and, my favorite, blue coke.

"So," I say as an uncomfortable silence settles across us, "what do you think of Leonie?"

I can tell I took him by surprise as he coughs and chokes on his burger.

"W-well, she's very pretty, b-but not as pretty as you, of course! A-and she is ..." I stop listening, just enjoying watching him stutter, trying to say that she is amazing, but I am even more, but failing epically.

"Look," I say cutting him off, "I just meant like, if I wasn't alive or if I disappeared or anything, would you date her instead?"

"Yes," he answered immediately.

"Well, I'm glad to know that someone as amazing as her would have a place in your heart if I died."

We continued talking, but about things like what we are going to do with our new powers.

After a while, the sun sets and we end our discussion and head to the house.

You see, after the prophecy of seven ended, we all-along with Nico and Reyna who are allowed because of how much time they spent with us-we all got a house that we all shared. There are enough rooms for all of us to live in, and the rooms are really big, like, HUGE big.

When I enter my room, I see Reyna, Nico, Hades, and Hestia waiting for me. To anyone else, it would be a very strange sight, but not to me.

They all turn when they hear the door open.

"Hey, guys."

"So, what happened on your 'date,'" asked Hades.

I explain everything, with Nico saying little details when I missed something.

"So, what happened with Leonie? Did anythi-" I start but stop when Thanatos shadow-travels in.

"I can't believe him," Thanatos yells.

"What happened," I ask, worried.

"Your 'boyfriend' is making out with Leonie," he spat out angerly.

I sigh. "Well, time for the next part of our plan. Time to break up with Andrew."

Hey guys, GhostQueen here! I just wanted to say that...the next part is where they break up and when Persephone leaves camp with Nico and Reyna forever! Or so they think...
