Penelope's POV:

Secrets, things we all have. Professionals say they cause distrust and build barriers in relationships. I do agree with this statement but yet, we all keep secrets to either protect ourselves or protect other people. In my case, my secret was protecting myself and other people. So, is it so wrong that I've been keeping one for awhile? One that I never intended to be released into the world? In fact, if I had known that my biggest secret would be revealed today... I probably would not have gotten out of bed. Who am I kidding? I wouldn't have gotten out of bed if it wasn't for my early morning meeting anyway.

It was the lovely hour of 5 am when I was putting on my mascara. I heard a light tapping sound that hit my window occasionally, was someone throwing pebbles? I capped my mascara and went over to the window before I pushed aside the curtains. Low and behold, one Zach Herron awaited me at the bottom of my window from the second story. I cracked open my window and just as I was about to say something, he shouted super loud.

"THIS ONE'S FOR YOU PENELOPE" he called out.

He turned around and pushed a button on a speaker before he started shouting the lyrics to "Cheerleader" by OMI. Immediately, I knew I had to stop him because it was very early in the morning and I'd probably get kicked out of the hotel. I grabbed a cardigan and flew downstairs, by the time I got to him, he was past the first chorus and he was still shouting the lyrics very off key and pitchy. I walked over to turn off the speaker and silence Zach. It was still dark outside so Zach's coordination was not the best.

"Hey...... what was that for?" he asked lazily.

"Are you high?" I replied.

"Maybeeeeeeeee. The sky is so pretty! Wait, what if this is all a simulation and we're the actual Sims?"

I sighed... wtf is wrong with him? That was 100% illegal and very wrong. Regardless, I knew I had to get him off of the streets or the paparazzi would get a field day from this.

"Come on" I mumbled as I threw his arm around my shoulders, grabbed his water bottle, and helped him walk.

I had no where else to put him so I ended up bringing him to my hotel room and letting him rest on my bed. Now I know what you're thinking, why do you live in a hotel when you literally live in L.A? It was because I wanted to be closer to the studio and I didn't want to see my disapproving father after my performances. So here we are, with a high Zach Herron in my bed.

I was 100% going to question him and give him a lecture about whatever he smoked later but for now, he needed food, water, and a distraction. Therefore, I ordered breakfast, water, and bought a few movies. Zach dove into the pancakes I ordered and started downing the scrambled eggs when I received a phone call.

"Hey babe, are you still coming? It's kind of late" Cameron said, worried.

"Yeah, I'm so sorry, something came up and I can't leave right now" I replied as I stepped into the bathroom.

"Oh."

Cameron definitely sounded sad and I was apologetic but I couldn't leave Zach on the streets. Strangely, a weird firing sound went off in the distance of Cameron's call.

"Was that a hot air balloon?" I asked.

"Yeah, I thought we could have breakfast and watch the sunrise in a hot air balloon... but you take care of whatever you need to babygirl."

I sighed, I could hear how disappointed Cameron was... I was the worst girlfriend ever.

"I am so sorry, I wish I could be there. Can we reschedule?"
