7- Sibling Day

Throughout April, we only lost five games after we played the Yankees. We swept the Orioles and Angels and had a good month overall.

So today, on the boys day off before we go to New York, Andrew and I were having a sibling day.

Or sibling days were never planned out, so we just did whatever we could think of. Our last one consisted of going to an aquarium, a waterpark, and then eating at Longhorn before going to Andrew's house to watch Hawaii Five-0 while stuffing our faces with popcorn and M'n'm's.

The one thing I did have planned today was watching Hawaii Five-0 at the end of the day.

Just so I was prepared, I was wearing a swimsuit under my tank top and shorts. I had a bag with me with a towel, sunscreen, money, another pair of shoes, a phone charger, snacks, and a couple of water bottles. I was shocked I could fit it all into one bag, but I got it to work. I also had my camera in its bag so I could take pictures if we went somewhere new.

My phone went off and I looked at it, seeing that Andrew texted me, telling me he was here.

I slipped on my flip-flops and sunglasses, walking out and to his car.

"Hey, dude. Ready for a fun day with your big sister?" I asked, grinning.

He hated when I said that, even if it was the truth.

He rolled his eyes, but the smile on his face didn't falter. "Of course I am, dork," he told me.

I turned up the radio as he backed out of the driveway, driving out of the neighborhood.

"So, where to today?" I asked, unlocking my phone and going to safari.

"I was thinking a theme park. There's this inflatable park in West Yarmouth. It's like an hour and a half away, but we can stop at little places along the way," he suggested and I nodded, looking the place up.

They were open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, and the water rides stop at six. So we would get there around two and a half hours after opening, so we'd have like five hours to ride the water rides.

"Sounds good to me," I said, looking back at him and smiling.

On the drive, we stopped to eat at McDonald's, and I got the chicken strips while Drew got two burgers. Forty-five minutes later, we stopped at a little museum and they even had a scavenger hunt.

I enjoyed the hell out of it, considering we got the kids version and I was awesome at finding it all.

We got through it in thirty minutes, then continued our drive to West Yarmouth. We only had thirty minutes left until we got there, and I now had the aux cord.

At first, I played a bunch of throwbacks mixed in with a little rap and some country, and then I moved on to Dermot Kennedy.

"Don't forget, 'bout how she had you feeling major. He tried to write down how he felt 'bout the girl, kept running out of paper. He'll wait for her. He was feeling fucking awesome. Be a good man like you taught him. Don't get caught up in caution when love exists!" I sang, getting close to Drew to annoy him.

He gave me a look and I laughed, the song finishing not long after that part. I turned down the music but made sure I could still hear it.

Now probably wasn't the best time to tell Andrew about how I've been talking to Aaron and how I went to his house last month, but he needed to know before we went to New York tomorrow. Someone could see us go out together and he could figure out from someone who wasn't me.

I contemplated telling him right now and then decided to just wait until we got home tonight. I didn't want to ruin today.
