"So, did you have time to visit any tourist spots?" The reporter asked.
Aaron was doing a small press conference today before he went back to the field. When we left, the Yankees just finished BP and Mookie was starting his.
"Uh, yeah. I got a lot out of the way when I came here two years ago, so I'm happy I can revisit places and take Olivia to them for the first time, like the Eye and Tower," Aaron replied.
"How are you getting used to being here, with the time difference and everything else that's different?" Another asked.
"I sleep a lot," Aaron answered simply, making people laugh.
He really does. We'd go to maybe three places and eat breakfast or lunch, then we'd be back at the hotel and he would just pass out for two hours. I can't judge him, though, cause I usually end up taking the naps with him.
After a few more questions about the games, Aaron was walking off the small stage and over to me.
"Ready to get into your uniform?" I asked, putting my hands on his chest.
"More like I'm ready for you to get me out of it," he said, making me gasp dramatically. "Aaron James," I playfully scolded.
He grinned and grabbed my left hand, bringing it up to his face so he could kiss the inside of my ring finger. He loved doing that. Well, he loved messing with my ring in general. When we were laying in bed, he would sometimes grab my hand and twist the ring on my finger, or he'd take it off and just look at it.
"You act as if you haven't done it before," he teased.
I hummed, wrapping my hand around his and bringing it closer to me so I could kiss his hand. "And I enjoyed the hell out of it," I told him.
He laughed lightly and kissed me softly.
I put my other hand on the side of his neck, standing on my toes.
Stupid height difference.
"Okay, I have to go now. I'll see you later," he told me when he pulled away.
I pouted and he pecked my lips again, smiling. "Go shopping with Kay or something. I love you," he said.
"Oh, that I can do. I love you too. Make sure if they take any pictures or videos, you get them and then I get them, okay? Okay. Good talk. I'll see you later, handsome. Love you!" I said, not letting him talk as I walked away.
He laughed and waved at me before I turned around, actually looking ahead of me. "I love you too!" He called.

"So they're releasing it today?" I asked Alex.
"Yeah. Dombrowski told me that every news outlet would be getting the story about how they found the 'alleged mastermind behind the David Ortiz shooting,'" he answered.
"I wanna go see him when we get home. Have you seen him yet?" I asked. "I've talked to his wife on the phone, but I haven't had time to see him yet. Maybe I'll go with you," he told me.
I nodded and we looked out on the field, watching the guys run around.
David Ortiz was shot a few weeks ago, and the arrests have been happening once a week, it seems like. First, it was the person people caught outside of the place, then it was the 'actual shooter' and now it's the alleged mastermind. I want them to catch the real people behind it, even if the hit supposedly wasn't for David, but it was very confusing when you weren't actually involved in the case.
I like to think I'm a nice person who doesn't really like physical violence, but I have to admit that I kinda laughed a little bit when I heard that the group of people broke the first guys' knees. If he's involved, he deserved it.
