Chapter 2

Nialls POV

It was finally the day we've been so nervous about. Today is the X Factor auditions. Standing in line made me realize how much my life can change. If I win, I won't just be a normal 16 year old boy -- I'd be an international sensation. I'd have no more privacy and I'd be on the cover of every tween magazine. I had to stop myself from dreaming because there's no guarantee that I will pass auditions. I was trembeling and I guess Lillie could tell how nervous I was becoming because she started reassuring me.

"Don't worry Niall! You'll be fine and blow the judges away! They won't see what's coming!"

"Oh, Lillie, I really hope you're right. If I don't get in, everyone will be making fun of me at school. I don't know if I can do this."

"Don't say that! Not only will you get in, but with your voice, you'll win! I just know it Niall, there's something really special about you that makes everyone instantly fall in love with you."

Fall in love? Does this mean Lillie is in love with me?

"Ummmmm not fall in love.....well nevermind....."

"Uh, yeah let's hope the judges like me."

"Niall Horan-you're up!"

This was it, it's my time to shine. I gave it all I had, and it was just enough for the judges. Thank God for Katy Perry, she saved me. Honestly, if it wasn't for her yes, I wouldn't have gotten through. I rushed backstage to see Lillie. I didn't have to run very far, though, because she came up to me and jumped into my arms...

"YAY, NIALL YOU DID IT! I KNEW YOU COULD! I'M SO PROU-"

I kissed her. I couldn't believe it but I did. This was the right moment. I instantly felt chills up and down my body. I mean if it weren't for Lillie, I wouldn't even be here. I owe her everything, including my heart.

Lillie's POV

He kissed me. That moment his lips crashed upon mine was the most magical moment of my life. My dreams have come true, and I guess so have his. I didn't want to break the kiss, but we had to talk.

"Niall......"

"Shhhh Lillie I love you and I have since I first met you. You're everything and more I've ever wanted."

"No Niall, I am in love you. It was love at first sight. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me."

But before I could finish, he kissed me again. I loved every second of it. This day was the best day of my life. I was ecstatic that the feelings I've had for 12 years were mutual, and I'm ready for our relationship to take the next step.
