Does he really know I'm not like the rest? How? I mean, what else would he be referring to? Well, unless he's referring to the time I broke Gram's prized vase when i was little. Whatever it was, I should just try and forget about it. As long as he doesn't tell anyone else, I'll be fine right?
My other periods come and go, and eventually lunch arrives! I can finally eat the Spaghettios gram packed for me! Well, just like everyother school I go to, this will be no different. I'm probably going to sit alone.
I eventually find an empty table, and sit down. I open my lunch and pull out my Thermos containing my Spaghettios. But as soon as I twist open the lid, someone sits right next to me. Actually two people sit next to me.
I look up to see a boy and a girl both on opposites sides from where I sit. "Sorry to bother you, but it doesn't look like much fun when you sit by yourself like that, does it?" The girl chimes with a sly smile. "Yeah. It would probably suck." This time it's the boy who speaks.
"Um, I really appreciate you two sitting here but, I'm fine alone, really." I reply. the girl smiles at me. Her black lips make a nice curve. The boy seems to be wearing identical lipstick. "It may seem weird but, we are actually here for a reason. You see, were like you. Different. Not because of the way we dress, but because, like you, we have special talents many other children couldn't comprehend." The girl says.
"H-How did you know I'm different?" I ask nervously.
"A cute little birdy told us named Barron." the boy says. Of course he told them. Great. Just great. "Anyways, my name is Melody and he's Storm." She says pointing to herself, then to Storm.
"My name is Ashyln. But, it doesn't matter.Because once you know what I am, you'll definitely won't want to stick around for much longer." I replied.
"Your a Shadow Whisperer darling, do you honestly think were not bad either?" Storm says Flamboyantly.
"Anyways we are going to a special club this afternoon, so feel free to join us. Don't worry you wont need a fake ID or anything." Melody said.
And with that they left.
remind me to strangle Barron when I find him.
