Wallace trudged his way to UA, it was a rather far distance, and he was still tired from staying up late last night thinking about and preparing a notebook to record each of his classmates and their quirks.

Once he pried open the huge door of his classroom, he decided to just take the first desk he saw right next to the door. He sat down, and pulling out his notebook, he looked around for anyone with an obvious quirk. He sees students with physical changes to their body, one of the girls had only one big eye in the middle of her face and another student had silky white hair with horns and a tail, similar to some kind of dragon. He almost assumed the dragon boy was a dragon girl before catching himself by taking another glance at his school uniform. Wallace, of course, noted all of this.

He also noticed how small the class was... only 16 students. This generation must have less students with strong quirks, he thought, or people have been wary of UA from their track record of villain attacks. Before he could write anything else down he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"So, what are you doing with that?" Wallace jumped up a little at the sudden voice. It was Paige, the teleportation girl who was pointing at his notebook. Wallace had figured out her name because she was the person who got first on the entrance exam. He wasn't quite sure how she got there though, considering he's only seen her teleportation.

"Just wanting to take notes for the future for when we have to team up so I can think of some plan." Wallace blurted out quickly, a little shaken up from the unexpected question.

"So you're being a stalker?" She sounded as blunt and monotone as ever.

Wallace shook his head rapidly, almost making him a bit dizzy."I-I d-didn't mean for it to be like that!" He stuttered and was all flustered, hastily shutting his notebook embarrassed and bending a few pages in the process. Naturally, Paige snickered at his reaction but then abruptly stopped when she remembered something.

"Did you see the news this morning?"

"No what happened this time?" Wallace looked up at her standing over him, confused at her sudden change in demeanor.

"Akoto killed a family of four, the youngest just developed their quirk." A small bit of sadness could almost be heard in her tone of voice as she brought the bad news. Wallace grit his teeth and clenched his fist, making his knuckles turn white. How could someone do something like that without even giving a damn?

"Well class is about to start. Bye." She gave a little wave and this time she even walked to her desk instead of teleporting. It really must have gotten to her. He wondered.

Before Wallace could calm down all the way the door suddenly shot open. In came in Mandalay, a pro hero who, when Deku was a kid, was in her prime.

"Welcome Class 1-A!~" She made her way to the podium. "You may know me as Mandalay! Member of the Wild wild pussycats, but you may call me Mrs. Sosaki, because I'm going to be your new teacher!" She took a small pause before continuing, carefully looking down all the students individually as if she hadn't just tried to memorize all their names to their faces a few moments prior. "I hope your all ready for your grueling, backbreaking, brutal, torturous time at UA!" She sounded a little too happy while saying that and it was all accompanied by a wide, unsettling, smile.

"Mrs. Sosaki, aren't you kind of over selling how bad it's gonna be? I know it's gonna be bad, but 'backbreaking'? Really?" Wallace inquired suddenly, raising his hand while he talked even though it didn't make a difference. In the corner of his eye Wallace noticed the dragon boy he noted down from earlier scoffing at him, finding it silly to interrupt the teacher over a choice of words, but that didn't stop Wallace from pressing on.
