Right now, you're attending the Kpop award ceremony where your fiance just received his music award. It wasn't anything new. He receive a lot of awards almost every year. Now is the ceremony dinner, which most of the people don't bother to stay for and go home, and it is a very small crowd that was inside the luxurious dining hall. People were sitting at tables, standing while having their drinking, talking to friends. It was a very bubbly and a bright atmosphere with the aroma of the food and the noise from the people talking.
You and your fiance, Jimin are always around big groups of people since he's very popular and then there's you, his beautiful fiance standing next to him smiling and nodding at whatever they say not that you're actually paying attention. Everyone can look at you and see that you look fine to be by his side, but really you feel like a key chain dangling wherever someone goes. You could just walk away and get some food finally but then your husband will stop you can assure you that you'll get to eat very soon, which was two hours ago.
You looked around the room only with your head, trying to not pay attention to his friends talking to him. You never really liked them that much because you knew that they didn't like you either. Sure you weren't as famous as everyone else, but they don't know what it's like behind closed doors. Jimin laughs at what his friends say and turns to you, knowing that you never had interest nor the liking.
"Sweetheart, why won't you go and freshen up, okay? You looked a little overwhelmed at the moment." Jimin took a finger and moved a couple of strands of your hair back from the front, "are you okay?" You nodded and excused yourself to the ladies room. You went out of the room, into the hallway and into the bathroom where you took a deep breath. The pressure of being around a lot of celebrities was never what you thought your future was. It felt like a part from a movie where two walls on the opposite side are coming in and you have no where to go. With both hands on the cold but comforting to you, you slowly come to your senses and mange to get your hearbeats and breathing stable.
"I need to piss." you murmured as you walked to one of the stalls quickly without tripping in your high heels, "I never wanted to piss more in my life ever since Jungkook cheated on me."
Thinking and living through that moment again when Jimin received his award and announced the engagement at the end of his speech was the only moment at the ceremony where you were happy. But when all of his peers were darting their eyes at you once he mentioned you and the engagement was the fastest moment where your happiness was killed. Celebrities were the most deadly thing to an average human beings. They have all the money, the fame and the complete control over gossip, so much so that it was like they're recently formed gods and goddesses looking down at you like scum of the earth.
They are very powerful no matter what it is. They can make as much as one petty social media post and everyone is acting like it's a football game. You knew that Jimin is a celebrity from the start when you began dating, but you never thought that everyone would be that judgmental. You just wanted to be happy, it's bad enough your parents didn't approve of this and neither did his parents, but at least he can talk back to them.
You flushed the toliet and pulled your panties up as you stepped out of the stall and looked in the mirror, fixing your dress. Then, you wandered in your head as you pulled your dress down that if everyone knew about you was really happening between you two behind closed doors, would they side with you or still believe that they know Jimin better than everybody?
*Ring*Ring*
Your phone was going off to a call. You answered it and held the phone up to your ear.
