I was mad no infuriated at that Gilbert Blythe sending that poor girl away so you can imagine my dismay when I saw her sitting on the bench with Diana they patted for me to sit with them we talked and made plans that Ruby,Diana,myself and oh I forgot to ask her name and just as I was about to ask ms Stacey started to speak so as you know  there is a new student why don't you introduce yourself ms Stacey said kindly the girl walked up to the front of the room not at all nervous the boys seemed to pay very close attention to her all except for Gilbert hello she said my name is reine couture I'm 14 years of age and I m from Trinidad my father is a business man from North Carolina USA and my mother is from a upper class family in Quebec we moved to Trinidad two years before I was born I have four siblings two older two younger my oldest sister is married and my older brother is touring Europe while my two younger siblings are living with there godparents while are new house is being built any questions Billy Andrews said I heard you killed a boy for trying to kiss you everyone gasped instead of crying or running away like a normal person she let out a small chuckle I see Augustus is still a bit sore you see she explained I was walking home one day when Augustus grabbed me and tried to kiss me so I did the normal thing and gave him a swift punch to the nose and he acted as if I had shot him she finished rolling her eyes the rest of the school day was boring and I never say that about school when school had finally let out Ruby,reine Diana and I walked to my house I can't believe gilbert didn't even try to bother me today I said I thought you liked it when he left you alone Diana said confused I do but then I don't I don't know I cried whoa is this your house reine said in awe as he walked up to the barn isn't it beautiful I replied bonjour Jerry said hello we said cheerily a boy that looked identical to Jerry walked up to him who is this I asked oh this is my twin brother Jacque you never told me you had a twin I said flabber gasted it never came up Jerry said Jacque this is Anne with an e Diana Ruby and um I haven't met you yet he said guesturing to reine my names reine she said hello everyone Jacques said he bowed to reine bonjour ma reine merci vous etes gras you are French Jerry and Jacque exclaimed at the same time yes reine giggled my mother is from Quebec well we must be off I said au reivour the boys said hello Marilla I said can I have four apples  four but there's only three of you well there's a new girl and she's really lovely what's her name marilla asked reine oh Anne that brings up what I wanted to tell you at breakfast I'm sorry marilla but ...but  nothing Anne she said I'm trying to tell you that bash thinks it's better for her to live with us really I  shouted running outside I  told the three other girls the amazing news as we  walked to the enchanted room  the walls were a huge oak tree with smaller trees making a half moon to a small brook the floor was a mixture of soft moss and pine needles  the room was dappled in sunlight as we sat down biting into are apples delicately wow Ruby said I never knew Jerry was a twin neither did I I said what did you and Jacque talk about Ruby asked reine  well my name means queen in French so he called me my beautiful queen aw how romantic Diana said what did you say back I asked I told him he was very bold aw Diana squealed I have something to announce Ruby said what is it we asked I am completely over Gilbert Blythe we clapped who do you like now reine asked no one Ruby said truthfully I'm more interested in getting Gilbert and Anne together she giggled Ruby Gillis i'am not and never will be in love with Gilbert Blythe whatever you say Anne they said laughing sure Gilbert was nice and looked good but I didn't like him like that did I
