Tyler didn't how the rest of the week had gone by so quickly, but before he knew it, it was Friday already. He paced around his room and thought back to why he had agreed to meet up with Justin.

"Sky, what should I wear?" Tyler asked he frantically rushed to her room. Sky sighed and got up from her bed.

"Well, you said it wasn't a date and you're meeting up at the mall... I think you should go with a pair of black ripped jeans, white shirt, and the jean jacket you bought the other day." Sky said as they both walked over to Tyler's room.

Tyler groaned and pulled out the clothes that Sky had mentioned. He double checked them and laid them out on his bed.

"I guess that will work. Now I have to shower and do my hair." Tyler said and Sky chuckled as he walked into his bathroom.

"Well, I'll leave you to it. I have to go pick up Rex. Matt, for some reason, wanted to keep him for a while longer." She said and walked out of the room.

Tyler rolled his eyes at how much his best friend loved her dog more than her boyfriend. He sighed and looked at the time.

He had at least three hours to get ready and make his way to the mall. And without wasting anymore time, he got in the shower.

Tyler was more nervous as his time to meet Justin was getting closer. The last time they had hung out, Sky and Jack had been with them.

This time, it was just the two of them. He didn't know what to make of the situation and as he put on his shirt, he was starting to have second thoughts of meeting up with him.

What if someone saw them and assumed they were back together? What if Justin just wants to mess with him? What if he just makes a fool out of himself and Justin doesn't really want to be his friend?

So many what if's and his nerves were getting the best of him. He took a deep breath and cleared his mind. He needed to stop thinking so negatively.

"Come on, Tyler. You're friends now." He said to no one in particular and finished getting ready.

He was having a much harder time then he expected. He sighed and sat down after putting on his shirt.

He chuckled at how over exaggerated he was being. He checked his phone and rolled his eyes as he saw the multiple texts from his friends.

He ignored their teasing and moved onto fixing his hair. He sighed as he gave up on trying to get his hair to stay up. He noticed that it was getting longer and played around with his hair a bit more.

He flinched when he heard his phone ringing. He walked over to it on the night stand sighed in relief when he saw that it was Sky.

"Hey." He said and walked back to his bathroom.

"I was just checking up on you. I know you're nervous about meeting up with Justin." She said and Tyler chuckled.

The thought of him being nervous was more ridiculous the more he thought about it.

"You know me too well." Tyler said and over looked his outfit in his mirror. "The more I look at the outfit, the more I'm starting to not like it." He added and Sky groaned.

"Tyler, stop seconding guessing yourself. You look great in that outfit. I've only seen you wear it like once and I think it looks great." She said and Tyler rolled his eyes.

Of course his best friend was going to tell him he looked good. "I know, I'm just nervous about this. This is going to be the first time I'm alone with him, out in public, since we broke up." I said and she sighed.

"And that's perfectly normal to be nervous. But you guys are going to be hanging out as friends. nothing more, nothing less." What Sky was saying made sense to Tyler, but was still dreading meeting up with him.

"You know, I thought I was ready to meet up with him, but the more that I think about it, the more I second guess myself about going. Talking to him through text is very easy because I don't have to see him." Tyler said and he was very surely that Sky was rolling her eyes.

"Obviously talking to him through text is easy. Just calm down and make your way to the mall now because if you don't hurry, you'll be late." Sky said and Tyler chuckled.

"Alright then. I'll see you when I get back." She said and Tyler hung up soon after that.

He took a deep breath and then grabbed his jacket, wallet and keys. He double checked his hair and outfit and sighed.

"I can do this." He said to himself and soon was making his way out of his apartment and to his car. He felt his hand shake as he got to his car and got in. He was silently hoping that he wasn't the only one feeling this way.

Just how Tyler had been all morning, the same could be said about Justin. He was frantically trying to calm his nervousness, but nothing was working.

He had arrived at the mall a couple minutes before the time that he and Tyler had agreed on and he didn't know how to feel. Part of him was excited to see Tyler and hang out with him, but part of him was unsure about it.

He took a deep breath as he scanned the area and frequently kept checking his phone for any reply from Tyler. He had texted him about where he was and that he was waiting for him.

Justin flinched as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and once he pulled it out, he noticed that Tyler had replied with a simple "I'm here and I'm on my way to you" and Justin couldn't help get anxious waiting for him.

He slightly paced around as he looked in every direction and once his eye sight spotted an all too familiar face, he felt his heart beat increase and shoved his hand in his pockets to hide how nervous he was.

Justin slowly started to head in his direction and met Tyler half way. Both smiling shyly and awkwardly at each other.
