"What are you and Sky doing for new years?" Tyler looked over to Justin and shrugged.

"I don't know. Sky said that her boyfriend wanted to go to New York for new years, but I'm not sure if they are." Tyler said and almost on cue, Sky walked into the living room.

"Hey guys." Tyler and Justin both turned to look at her.

"Hey Sky." Justin said and Tyler rolled his eyes as Sky sat between them on the couch. She noticed Tyler's eye roll and slightly smirked as she turned to face Justin.

"Well you're here earlier than usual." She said and Justin chuckled.

"I came to see if Tyler wanted to hang out today. But sadly he has a video to film so i'm not staying for too long." He said and looked over at Tyler.

"Well you guys could film a video together. When was the last time you guys were in each other's videos?" Sky said and looked over at Tyler.

"It's been years now." Tyler said and Justin nodded in agreement.

"Oh wow. Then I say that you guys do a video together. Instead of me being in it, have Justin be in it. People would love that." She said and the more Tyler thought about it, the more he liked the idea.

"I mean, if Justin's okay with it, I'm okay with filming with him instead of you." Tyler said and Sky turned to face Justin once again.

"So? What do you think?" She asked and Justin  chuckled. "You guys would still be hanging out if you think about it. I can leave and just let it be you two." She added.

Justin looked over at Tyler to see if he was really okay with it and nodded. "Yeah, I guess we could." He said and Sky got up from the couch.

"Okay then, I'm taking Rex out for a walk and then heading over to Matt's place." She said and with that, she called out to Rex.

Both Tyler and Justin watched her get her things and leave. Tyler shook his head at how non subtle his best friend was.

Once she was gone, Justin couldn't help laugh. "She really couldn't have been more subtle than that." He said and Tyler chuckled.

"I know. Leave it to the best friends to embarrass you." He said and stood up from the couch.

"I know. I can't count the many times Dakota has done what Sky did." Justin said and got up as well.

"Well, let's get started." They set up everything they needed before getting started with filming. And throughout the whole video, it was nothing but laughter shared between them.

Tyler never realized how much fun it would be to film with Justin. And he was definitely glad Sky made the suggestion.

They don't know for long they filmed, but once they were done, none of them were able to notice the slight twinkle in their eyes.

"Now that I think about it, this was definitely more fun than going somewhere to do something." Justin said and sat on Tyler's bed.

He watched as Tyler put away the ring lights. "Honestly, I think so too. I definitely had more fun filming than I would've had if we had gone somewhere." Tyler said and sat next to Justin on his bed.

They both moved to sit criss cross and turned to face each other. "Now what?" Justin asked and Tyler shrugged.

"I don't know. I am tired though. I didn't realize we filmed for two hours. Nearly three." Tyler said yawned. "That's gonna be a bitch to edit."

Justin chuckled and nodded. "Good luck with that." Justin said and then both fell into silence. They both had a lot on their minds, but didn't want to say anything.

"Justin..." Tyler started and Justin looked up at him, making eye contact.

"Never mind, it's in the past and it should stay that way." Tyler added and looked down at his hands, a sheepish smile on his lips.

"What? Tell me." Justin said and Tyler shook his head. "Come on, it can't be that bad, can it?" Justin trying encouraging him to say what was on his mind.

Sighing, he looked back up at Justin. "Why did you break up with me? You said that it was because we were arguing, but half the time, you were being so secretive that I didn't know how to act around you and that's what led us to argue."

Justin looked down at his hands, not knowing how to reply to Tyler. Because in reality, he didn't know himself why he ended things.

Tyler anxiously bit the inside of his cheek and looked around the room. He had always wanted to know why Justin decided to break it off with him.

"To be completely honest, I don't know. I know that doesn't sound like much of an answer, but I don't know where I was at that point. My mental state wasn't the best and I was letting it out on you." Justin sighed and avoided looking at Tyler.

"But why were you in that mental state? Every time I asked what was wrong you never wanted to talk about it. You always brushed me off and then got mad at me when I wouldn't talk to you. I guess I just want to understand why it led to a break up." Tyler said and once again looked down at his hands.

"Why is it so important for you to know? That was all there was. I just fell in a mental state that only giving time to myself was the only way to heal myself." Justin said and looked up.

Tyler could start feeling the tension build up between them and he didn't like it.

"Because, for three years, I've always wondered what the hell happened." Tyler said and looked at Justin.

Confusion clearly written on his face. Justin didn't know what to think of this. "Tyler, trust me when I say that I regret hurting you. And I know that to you it looked like I didn't care for you, but I did. I cared for you so deeply that I just couldn't keep hurting you. I don't regret breaking it off, but I regret how I did it."

As silence surrounded them once again, Justin couldn't help take Tyler's hands in his. Tyler looked down at their intertwined hands and a soft smile appeared on his lips.

Justin smiled as he noticed the smile on Tyler's face. They were both more than happy to simply be in each other's presence.

Tyler still had questions, but he wasn't going to let them ruin the rest of their time together.
