Chapter II The First Flight

Joe was in the FBO designing his flight plan for the day that would take him where he needed to be to bring Weiss to Patch for a visit with one of her friends. It was his first day of work and his first day as her pilot. Eventually everything was punched into the computer and the flightplan was written down in his notebook and he went to the jet. It was a beautiful Embraer Legacy 650 painted in white, silver, black, and blue. He liked the jet a lot as it was adapted from an easy to fly airliner. The range was great and there was also plenty of maneuverability and speed. In other words it was a lot nicer than any bullhead for cargo airship. Compared to those it was sleek and showed status. He performed a preflight inspection and removed all the protective equipment for things such as the pitot tubes and source ports. With the plane ready he went inside and took a final look over the cabin area where he folded a blanket for the flight in case his passenger wanted to sleep. Soon all was done before he would arrive in the cockpit but today would be different as he would want to provide a good impression on Weiss as her new employee. He waited right by the staircase until she arrived and walked up to her shaking her hand "Good morning Miss Schnee I am y/n it is a pleasure to meet you" he said happily "I am your new pikot and will be flying you to Patch today" soon it would take all his effort to keep his ears down from his excitement. She appeared much kinder and easygoing than most said she would be. "It is nice to meet you as well y/n I trust you will be able to get me there alive, well, and in a good mood." She said to him with a slight sense of excitement in her voice as she was happy to have this new jet and a new pilot to go with it. Soon after he showed her to her seat and then went to the cockpit himself starting the engines and the ground crew soon after pulled away the chocks and they slowly taxid to the runway. After the proper clearance as given he took off and flew the departure to his regular route. Eventually they reached the cruising altitude and flew along for a few hours until it was time to defend into Patch as they mad their way across Vale then over the ocean. Once the ocean had been crossed there was a small airport by the coast thatncoild be seen as he began to descend and begin the approach to the airfield. Afterwards he began to slow down and make the visual approach into the airport and ending with a perfect landing. Once parked and with the aircraft cold Weiss walked to the cockpit of the aircraft and began to speak to y/n. "Would you like to a come with me? It would be truly unkind to just leave you behind while I went about my visit" she said to him kindly as she was in a great mood. He looked back at her with a smile "Sure I would love to" he said back to her as they then left the plane to continue on a small journey to visit one of Weiss's great friends.
