Eddies POV
"Let's go up to my room before my mom gets back from work" I say changing the subject running up to my room. We sit down on my bed "so.." I start trying to make small talk "What do you wanna-" I get cut off by feeling another pair of lips on mine. Richies k-kissing me??

"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to kiss you I don't know what I wa-" Richie gets off quickly muttering out before I cut him off, "No! No! It's okay Richie it's ok-" I say but Richie cuts me off "no it's not okay..I'm sorry I'm so sorry I should just leave.." Richie gets up and runs out of the room. "Wait!" I run after him, Richie burst out of my house running off as I try chasing after him.

I lose him as he passes the corner, "Shit.." I whisper out of breath. I don't know why but I feel like I'm about to..cry.? I sit on the sidewalk and just start crying. Tears rushing down my face as I keep playing the scene over and over again in my head, I stand up and start slowly walking home. I get home and lay on my bed staring at the celling, "what did I do wrong?" I whisper. Falling asleep not so long after..

I wake up and look at my phone. "Crap!" I mutter releasing I'm late for school and rushing out of my bed. "I'm late??! IM NEVER LATE?!?" I start saying grabbing clothes.

I rush into the bathroom and take a quick shower and brush my teeth, I'm almost ready when I see my mom. "Eddie.?" My mom whispers looking at me with sleepy eyes "can't talk mom I'm late.!" I say fast "Eddie..it's Saturday " she says worriedly looking at me "w-what.?" I say looking at my phone to see it's Saturday."oh..haha" I laugh awkwardly walking slowly back to my room and closing the door.

After waking up I'd usually just finish the rest of my day but today I decided to sleep. I crawled back in my bed and fell asleep instantly, I get woken up by the sound of thunder. I sit up and look at my phone, "wow..it's 8 at night??" I say surprised I slept all day.

I crawl out of bed to go to the bathroom. After I look around for my mom "Mom..?" I yell. I find a note on the fridge, "I'll be back soon honey! Love you!!!! ~Mom" oh she's not home ok. I start walking back to my room when I hear a knock at the door, "Who could be out there with all that lighting and thunder??" I talk to myself thinking it's probably just my mom. I open the door

"Hey mo-" I look up to see it isn't my mom..but Richie. "R-Richie?" I stutter looking at him. "Hey Eds. Can I come in?" He asks soaking wet "Y-yeah Richie" I open the door wider so he can come in. "Sorry..about well, everything." He says sadly looking down "no no it's fine Richie.." I smile gently at him. "How about you take a shower or something?" I say walking over to get a drink "uh would that be ok?" He asks "yeah definitely" I say smiling while taking a sip of water

"Ok..thanks Eddie" he smiles walking upstairs. 30 minutes later he comes back out with wet hair and only a towel on "Do you have any clothes I can borrow?" He asks nervously walking down "u-uh p-probably yeah um, look In my room" I stutter out feeling stupid "Thanks" he smiles wide walking over to my bedroom. Why did I stutter so much..? I'm so stupid. He probably thinks I'm retarded or something..

Richie walks back out wearing a green long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. "Thanks Eddie" he says walking down and sitting beside me on the coach "it's no big deal" I say nicely changing the channel on the TV. "What do you wanna watch.?" I asks turning to him "umm..I don't really care" he says shrugging. I turn to a movie and leave it on there. It's about a boy that ends up really liking his best friend. Turns out his best friends likes him back, and they end up getting together and everything. It kinda reminded me of something but I don't know what..

I turn to Richie when the kiss scene happens. He then turns and looks at me.."Yes.?" He asks, realizing I was staring makes me blush a little turning quickly to the TV

"Sorry.." I whisper quietly "it's fine Eds" Richie grins widely at me, before the movie ends I end up falling asleep. I wake up the next morning in Richies arms..how did this happen??

"Morning sleepy head" he whispers in my ear making me shiver a little "what happened last night??" I ask staring up at him "you got scared of the dark and cuddled up to me. I blush deep can't believing I did that, "I'm sorry Richie..i have a big fear of the dark. Make fun of me all you want" I say awkwardly

"don't apologize! It was actually pretty nice.." Richie says blushing. Nice..? What's he mean by that? "You're so cute when you sleep..not in creepy way though.." he says smiling at me. I do something I didn't expect me to do..I lean up and kiss Richie, yes my bully.

Or at least was my bully it long and passionate until he pulls away "Eddie..are you sure you're okay with kissing me..?" He asks "Yeah.." I say happily kissing him again. He gets up and fixes breakfast for us, "thanks Richie" I say smiling "no problem!" He says giving me a pancake. Maybe things will work out after all...
