Chapter 7: Be mine part 1

1 Year Later

Minako's POV

About a year ago a certain Uchiha confessed to me and on that same year I lost him,yes my true love dead... Haha just joking.

When he confessed, its was officially the best thing that has ever happened to me, that was until certain people graced us with their presences and decided to ruin it.

Yes,my parents, they found our location and ruined our picnic. But they took Shisui in with open arms...

Haha,got you again. It all just happened way too fast. Shisui and I were in a tight spot,its a miracle that we survived...

Flash Back

"Well,isn't this romantic, " someone clapped behind us, Shisui immediately put me on the ground and pushed me behind him.

I looked over his shoulder and we both gasped at who stood before us.

Maybe they didn't hear his name.

"Isn't, Uchiha Shisui, " he spoke.

I stand corrected and shocked.

"Papa,mama, " I begin as I removed myself from Shisui's protective back, "I can explain." I looked at them both.

My parents are kind hearted people, who understand me at any situation, there was this one time when I stabbed this boy with a kunai on the arm, just because he called me a good-for nothing brat, my parents found out but celebrated my self-respect. So they can definitely understand me now,right?

"Shut up, you disrespectful child!," my papa yells and I flinc, he rarely yells at me with an insult, which means that I'll be visiting my grandma soon.

"Kazu-kun, let her explain. Our Minako always has a good reason for everything,right," my mom looks at me and I nod, she indicates for me to continue. My mom is always understanding and patient when my papa is not.

I advert my eyes from them and turn to Shisui, he had a calm expression as if he know that this was going to happen. He gives me a small smile, and suddenly confidence is radiating from me, I unhesitantly take his hands into mine.

I look back at me parents, taking a deep breath, "I didnt want to tell you his real name because I knew if you found out that papa would refuse to heal him and that you would send him away. And if you did chase him away that he would probably die and I couldnt live with myself knowing that an innocent man dead because of me," I said in one breath.

"Innocent?, innocent?! You calling a shinobi such as him innocent? Did you forget that he is an Uchiha prodigy," okay so maybe the word innocent was wrong, "did he threaten you my love, is that way you protect him. Come here and I'll remove him and his threats from our lifes." I stiffen and hold Shisui's hand even tighter.

I shake my head violently,"He didnt threaten me father, I lied for him, he was prepared to tell you his name but I lied and stopped him, please understand my reasons," my parents stared at me with disbelief as if I have never lied to them before this and that would be a lie. "He cares about me, and even loves me," Shisui squeezes my hand, I smile and look down at our moulded hands,"and I'm not letting him go because I love him too," I glance back at my parents.

My mom has a smile on her face but my papa looks at our hands 'distasteful' written all over his face. I proudly squeeze Shisui's hand right in front of his face.

And that's when things goes south, my papa and I begin our real argument.

"Love? What do you know about love, you are too young for this, let go of his hand right this instant," he screams.
