Chapter 6

The kids

Roseanna grabbed Anastasia's hand as she practically dragged her towards the table where all of the kids ate. Anastasia was suddenly feeling the effects of being in a large room full of people she didn't know. She started to try and curl into herself when Rosanna Noticed.

"Annie, I know this all completely new to you and you're scared but I promise as long as I am here nobody will ever hurt you." Anastasia looked up at her new sister. She could sense the truth behind the words she spoke and she felt more at ease.

"Ill hold you to it." Roseanna smile just widens as she said this and they continue over towardss the table. Annastaias grip never loosened as they walked over.

"Guys This is Annie, My Little sister, and our new friend."

"Wait!" Daniel, Roseanna's older brother, stood up holding both his hands up signaling stop. HIs grey eyes held mass amounts of confusion as he looked at his younger sister. "When did we get a new sister."

"She was just adopted into the family today. I'm sure mum and dad will tell you all about it later." Roseanna sat Anastasia next to Daniel on an empty seat, their shoulders brushing up against each other.

Sparks ran all over Anniestasias should for the time they touched. She flinched away from the feeling looking at Roseanna in confusion on what she felt. Her parents had briefly told her about mates. But all she could remember was the faint screaming of that she would never have a mate because she was a disgrace and nobody could ever love her.

while Anastasia was looking at Roseanna Daniel held his shoulder. Sparks. He had just found his mate. Daniel had recently shifted being 12. HIs father had told him all about mates. The sparks, feeling of protectiveness, the underlying love. His eyes held adoration.

Suddenly he felt a pull dragging him to the back of his mind. Hunter, his wolf, had taken slight control of him. "Mine," he growled ever so slightly, wrapping his arms around Annistsia. The sparks spread all across his arms and chest and he felt her relax into him feeling safe.

They both may have been young but they both sifted earlier than they were supposed to. Their wolves were both taking on the age of 16  while they were only 5 and 7.

The minute Roseanna heard the word mate she ran over to her mother. She knew this would happen someday but because it was now she felt the need to get her mum. Once she reached her mum she tugged on her shirt slightly.

Amelia felt the tugging and turned and looked down at her daughter. "What's wrong honey where is Annie?" She was extremely confused as those girls and been inseparable since they met.

"Shes with Daniel. I think their mates. That's what Daniel said." Roseanna pointed at the pair who were calmly taking still hugging while the kids at the table were amazed to see such an act.

Amelia turned white. He couldn't believe it. Her son and her New daughter were mates. She knew that they both sifter earlier than they were supposed to so their wolves were much maturer than usual.

She tapped her husband's shoulder and pointed to the two. Alex understood immediately and all three of them walked over there. Everyone ended up in Alex's office and they all had a discussion.

They explained to Daniel and Anastasia what was going on and that is was normal but that didn't mean they could go hurting people because they felt protective. That they had to get a better grip on their wolves and try and keep them under control.

They were also talking to Roseanna and told her that one day she would find her mate one day as well. The conversation was a rollercoaster of emotions. It was very known to everyone.

This night had created so many new doors. Those three became an inseparable trio. For the next two years, they had been homeschooled and after they finished their school work they went for runs in the forest for hours and hours sometimes they even let their wolves take control.

Roseanna had shifted not too long after their conversation that night sp even she and Becca, her wolf, were able to join in the fun. The three children and their wolves had formed a bond that connected them all together, Anastasia and Daniel are closer together being mates.

Once Roseanna and Annastaisa reached the age of 8, Daniel 10, Amelia and Alex decided they should all attend a private school full of wolves. This was so they could communicate with their kind more and make some more friends.
