Chapter 9

Recovery

           

Anastasia is in the pack hospital. Iv's were attached to her arms pumping her full of fluids. It had been three days since the incident at the school. There was no sign of improvement since she had been in the pack hospital neither was their signs of her condition worsening.

Daniel hadn't left her side since she had ended up in the hospital. He was constantly blaming himself for her state. If he hadn't of injected her with the wolfsbane and sedative she would still be awake and would have been for the past three days.

"If you didn't knock her out, she would still possibly be on her rampage destroying everything." Roseanna stated leaning on the doorframe. She was in a bit better shape than him being that she had showered. However, she couldn't sleep or eat without the guilt eating her up and she knew her brother was feeling the same way.

The bags under her eyes matched his as they looked at each other the weight of the room felt like it was crushing down one their shoulders.

"If I just found a diff-"before Daniel could finish his sentence Roseanna stormed over to him, grabbing his face and diverted his eyes to Hers rather than Anastasia.

"You cannot keep blaming yourself. Its hard on me too. What your doing is going to accomplish nothing. Get up have a shower and eat something before I get someone to drag you into the shower, YOU STINK. Ill watch over Annie while yo-your gone." Roseanna's voice broke at the end of her rant but she knew she got through to her brother.

Daniel stormed out of the room after what his sister said. She was right. He looked completely pathetic the way he was acting he need to shower and eat. He was the future Alpha he needed to get his shit straight.

The minute Daniel got into the shower he broke down into a mess. He missed Anastasia and if he could turn back the clock he would go back and re-do what he had done. He wanted his mate back and no matter how hard he was trying to keep his from up he was braking inside. All he wanted was Annie.

Roseanna sat in the seat Daniel had been in moments before. She took Anastasia's limp hand in her own and gave it a firm squeeze. She waited to feel anything back the weakest movement but nothing came. A tear slipped out of her eye and se gazed upon her sister.

"I heard somewhere people could hear you speaking when you're in a coma so here goes nothing." Roseanna tried to laugh but it came out as a hiccup. "You need to come back. Daniel misses you, heck I bloody miss you. Even your annoying opinion." A Small smiled slipped on Roseanna's face as she goes though good memoires, "Please Annie I never ask anything of you this is it."

Roseanna sat there by herself waiting for something anything. 2 minutes, five minutes after ten minutes had past, she gave up waiting and broke down into sobs on Anastasias arms.

Five minutes after Roseanna started crying the heart monitor start going crazy. Roseanna sat back in astonishment as she was Anastasia fly forward eyes wide open as flashing silver as the loudest most pain felt screamed ripped through the pack house.
