I hesitated but Joe picked it up and handed it to me. I unwrapped it and there was a toy. On the box something was written: The Ever Growing Dinosaur. Joe laughed, "It is great. You may keep it." And he ran away.
I checked the box but there was no name. I decided to keep it and then the horror started and my life turned miserable. I ran the whole way to the school. I was really late but to my relief our teacher didn't arrive yet. After school Joe came to my house for lunch.
I kept the toy on the table. Mom cooked pancakes and noodles for lunch. Joe was so excited that the glass fell from his hand and the water splashed on the toy. He apologised, "Oh! So clumsy of me."
Mom told, "No problem." She wept the water. My eyes popped out. The dinosaur grew in size and it blinked... (To be continued)
