Gouenji Shuuya X (OC) Furukawa Koku

"Koku?"

"Shuuya?"

They both looked at each other taken aback by the other's precence, they had never expected to meet again. The childhood friends had long ago abandoned the use of last names, they have called each other by their first names ever since they were 5.

Tsunami, Fubuki, Tachimukai and all those whom only joined the team recently were confused, the Coach too of course was, but didn't pry.

"Hold up, what's going on? Gouenji-san you never told us you had a girlfriend" Tsunami of course went along making up assumptions and questioning, making the newly Reunited teens attempt to fight off a blush; attempt.

"We're not together!" The both of them had tried so desperately tried to deny but to no aival as that blush they had no control of stated otherwise.

"Oh well, whatever flows your way" the pinkett shrugged before turning to the matter at hand, they had to fight against the Genesis now.

When they rid themselves of the limiter they weren't the only ones to scream, She had done too, because it genuinely hurt to see people her age (She could assume they were her age, Aliens or not did not matter) suffer.

And her heart bloomed with Joy as Fubuki broke out of his restaines, of course with the help of her treasured Shuuya but still, after learning of his condition she was happy for him.

And they won, well of course they did, this was Raimon and they had Gouenji, Kidou and Endou, the perfect Trio not only that but now they had added another to their team, Koku.

They were all relatively surprised to learn that the once assumed Aliens were merely orphans, that Hiroto wasn't even really Hiroto, just what Hotimoko's father saw as a shadow of his son probably, and they were even more surprised to find out that Hiroto was absolutely content with that, after the redhead took that hit from Ulvida.

After they all said their goodbyes, they were happy that it was all over, and Koku was happy too, not only has she got to see the person whom her love for never wavered, but she'll also get to see her old team, and maybe Kazemaru would be up for another combined defence Hissatsu, she already had plenty of ideas.

Midst all their thoughts, wether they were Koku's or not, the bus was filled with laughter, and none of them could wait until they reached Raimon.

Once they did reach Raimon they were yet again taken aback by the turn of events, all of them had given their self up to the Aliea meteorite.

"Kazemaru!" Koku called out "Wake up!" But nothing she said could trigger any reaction but laughter. Koku desperately wanted her closest teammate after Gouenji back.

She felt disappointed, she was hurt and she was sure some of the hits she had received would bruise, she had tried everything oh so desperately to just just ignite an emotion, anything but she recived nothing. It hurt Gouenji; it hurt him to see her like that.

And though Endou succeeded, she still felt down that it wasn't her that got to beat some sense into Kazemaru, she blamed herself, maybe it was her leaving that just.. failed her, after all Kazemaru and Endou have been together through everything. She excused herself saying she was tired, that after all she had only arrived from America, everyone brought her excuse but Gouenji Shuuya, He knew her better.

As the platinum head expected, he had found the girl at the river bank "Hey.." he spoke softly placing a hand on his shoulder though was shocked to see her face tear stained when she turned around to face him.

"Hey," she mimicked his tone all while a sad smile graced her lips.

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned tucking a stray hair behind her ear making her heart skip a phantom beat, maybe if she wasn't so sad, the gesture would've made her blush, however it did something else, it made her break.

The wind had come to warn Gouenji of the change of atmosphere as it undid one of the girls buns. Her blue eyes filled with tears one more as she fell to the grass, Gouenji crouching next to her concerned.

"Why?" She started "Why am I so helpless? Why couldn't I do anything? Even though I tried my best... I couldn't even trigger a look.. anything a frown.. a grimace... anything would've been Fine..!" She broke down she was crying and she was a mess. She was pulled into an embrace.

"I... did all the bonds just disappear... was it because I left? Why... Why did I have to leave? Did they forget...? I wouldn't blame them if they did... they probably thought I was gone for Good... I thought so too...

"It hurts, it really hurts to know that the reason you're forgotten is nothing other than yourself, it hurts to feel this way, I don't want to feel this way...! Feel all hurt, not wanting to feel hurt.. but then feel as if I deserve all that pain. Do I? Do I deserve it? I probably do...."

Gouenji felt helpless, just the way she felt, it was as if he could do nothing to console her, and it hurt him, it hurt him so damned much.

The girl let out a dry chuckle "Maybe... just maybe they're all thinking that.. who the hell do I think I am? Leaving and coming back as I please..."

"Shut up" and that command surprised even it's speaker, but he couldn't stop the words tumbling out of his mouth "You're not helpless, you might not know it but you did alot if anything they probably feel even more guilty for hurting you, don't blame yourself it's not like you intended for that scholar ship, it wasn't within your control that you had to leave so stop, if anything we're all happy you're back, so stop just plain stop"

"But--"

"No." He looked at her his gaze was hard but soon enough softed as he reached his hands out and cupped her cheeks wiping away her tears with his thumbs. "I might not know about them...." he started "But I sure as hell am glad that you're back, Koku"

"Wh.. what do you mean?"

"I love you." He didn't know from where he got that courage, maybe it was a spur of the moment thing or maybe it was his heart deciding not to hold back anymore, he honestly didn't know.

"Sh-Shuuya..."

"I know--" he looked away not meeting her eyes "--I know that you don't feel the same about me, and I understand I just had to let it out... I hope, that you'd at least remain my friend..."

"Shut up." It was Koku's turn now to use those exact words, but what followed was something the blond did not expect, a pair of warm lips.
