The next morning, I walk inside Morris Holdings & Co. building feeling excited to finally work again but a little sad that I wont be able to wear my favorite shoes anymore. But I made sure to check my pair of heels before wearing them and walk them through the building. You know, I don't want to get embarrass anymore especially in front of my annoying self-absorb boss.

I made my way inside and greeted  the receptionist with my warmest smile before walking in the elevator. I tap the electromagnetic pass that Ms. Andrew gave to me yesterday before I went home so that I can use the elevator. This building is so high-tech. You can't go up without this fancy electromagnetic pass that you should tap on the scanner before pressing the button to any floor or else the elevator will not work its way up.

I guess the lady already know that I'll be working in the company from now on because she just beamed her warmest smile in return and didn't bother to ask me questions.

"Good morning!"

Emily greets me with a smile as soon as I exited the elevator.

"Good morning!"

I reply, beaming her with my pearly-white teeth. Thanks dentist!

"Your contract is ready. Mr. Morris is waiting for you in his office. Do you want me to take you to his office?"

Emily hands me the contract and is about to stand from her seat but I stop her.

"Oh! No! No! I can handle it. Thank you!"

I wave her to go back to her sit. I don't want to bother her since I already know where to go.

Emily is so adorable and sweet. I think we will definitely get along very well.

I walk my way along the hallway and when I reach my new boss's office, I compose myself first and check my heels once again. Paranoid much!

I knock on the hard wood door first. Manners first before anything else.

"Come in."

His calm yet very manly voice is so soothing as it envelopes my ears.

I open the door and walk inside.

"Good morning Mr. Morris!"

I look  at the wall clock on the side of the room. It's five minutes before 8. I'm not late. Is he always this early? Well, I guess I'm just used with my previous boss who arrived to the office half an hour late or more.

"Did you get the contract Miss Hamilton?" Chace asks. He waves for me to sit to where I sat yesterday on my interview.

"Yes. May I read it first before signing it? Just to make sure everything is well. No less no more."

I say and quickly waves the contract in my hand in the air.

"Very eager and wise. I like that!"

He smirks, placing his clasped hands on the desk as he hovers a little closer to me from his seat, putting his weight on the desk between us. I swear I could smell his irresistible scent from where I sit and it makes me lose my focus. Then he speaks again making me have a taste of his minty breathe as well.

"Of course you may Ms. Hamilton. It's your contract after all. Also, other important matter such as your salary and benefits are all listed down in your contract and your job description of course."

I look at the contract again, trying to focus my eyes on it and not my nose with the lingering scent around me.

"Let me also add that our agreement is also enclosed in the last page."
