After a couple of seconds of looking for the young ones, you suddenly saw Lauer still running from mountain trolls. With a gasp, you leapt from one roof to another trying to get in front of him.
You finally landed on a rooftop across from where he was.
When he realised that there was a ledge he didn't stop. He just kept running. As he leapt across the troll ridden street he looked at you with pure fear in his eyes as he realised that the 2 of you were going to fall off of the roof.
As he landed on your arms the 2 of you begun to slide backwards.
"Lauer grab the aby and hold onto her as tightly as possible ok?"
He nodded as you held him close to your body as you fell.
Seconds after you smashed to the ground you continued to run (while holding Lauer and the baby in your arms) through an abandoned village. As you ran you grabbed a carrying basket and placed it on your back.
More and more trolls begun to follow you. So as you were running you had to fight off troll after troll until you reached a large cliff.
The closer you got to the edge the more you realised that you had to jump.
The second you did so you put the children in the basket on your back and prepared for landing.
After landing into water you swam to the surface and made your way to a nearby cave.
"*cough* you two ok?*cough*" you asked as you removed them from the basket on your back.
" Yes were fine. what about you?" Lauer asked in a panic.
" What about me?" you asked
" Are you ok? your not hurt are you?"
You could see that he was scared and worried about you so you placed your hands on his shoulders and made him look at you.
" Lauer, Lauer calm down ok? See I'm completely fine. not a scratch on me." you said sitting him down on a rock and showing him your arms.
"See. nothing to worry about."
With a small smile, Lauer let out a yawn and stretched out his arms.
At seeing this you did a quick scan of the area and then turned to him.
"We'll sleep here tonight. we leave tomorrow morning."
" where will we go?" he questioned
" Well try and get home it will take a couple of days so rest. I'll take care of the baby tonight but tomorrow you will be carrying her. "
"Ok," he mumbled as he drifted to sleep with the baby next to him.
