he asked, as interested in her as she was to him.
her hand lifted to her mouth and she giggled. as he watched her eyes fix back on his, he turned his head in disbelief.
" wow~ who knows, you may beat me out. im nothing special anyways- what do you play? "
hun ran his hand through his hair before picking up the fork and eating the slice of cake theyd ordered together after the incident.
" i 'may' beat you out? more like i will beat you out, i play bass " soonji teased.
she played with the crumbs on the plate with the fork, which hun took notice of.
" youre left handed? "
" you got a problem with that? " she said, jokingly mad.
" nope. not at all maam. just lightening the mood " he returned as his hands waved up in defence.
" what about me says that the mood is dark? " she continued teasing, enjoying the others defensive reaction to her playfulness
he just looked at her, more endearingly. he realized how much she had just went to but still chose to mess around like she was now- making it seem as if she was convincing herself that there is nothing to worry about, for herself or for others. he admired her for seeming so open and confident already, theyd only known each other an hour or so for all she knew.
" you know youre really cute "
he smiled.
she looked down at her watch and then scooped a piece of cake into her mouth before saying, " uh, we should go now. i assume were practicing at the same place- the open jam hours are limited and im not gonna waste a whole ride here to get only an hour of practice in "
" whatever you say cutie " he replied, amused by the obvious blush she tried to hide.
they took their instruments and headed for the building they never intended to create the most memories in.
