~Chapter 5~

Day - Thursday 

Jake PoV :

I woke up really early and decide to have a shower. Today was the big day, I would find out if I made the football squad and if I was captain. I hopped out of the shower after washing my hair and body. I dried myself and my blonde fluffy hair. I then packed a bag with things I needed for the tryouts.

I walked down stairs and into the kitchen to be greeted by Margo the chef.

Margo: "Good morning Jake, is it the usual breakfast".

She asked in a questioning tone of voice.

Jake: "Yes please and thanks"

Margo: "Yes sir I will be back in 5 minutes with that".

I then hear Logan throdding down the stairs, I don't want to have to deal with him so I stick in my earphones and begin to text Alissa.

Text message with Alissa: 

Jake: Hey babe xx

Alissa: Hi Jake

Jake: Are you trying out for cheer xx

Alissa: Don't be so rude,I'm so good I obviously don't need to tryout 

Jake: Sorry babe didn't mean to upset you xx

I didnt know asking her if she's was trying out would trigger her so much. She didn't reply so I finished the breakfast Margo made then left the kitchen and went to the garage. I got in my lambo and drove to school. I arrived at school and met up with my crew.

Jake: "Hey guys, yous excited for tryouts later".

Anthony: "Yeah bro, we're all going to make the squad so why would we not be excited".

Chance: "Fact and Jake your getting captain so put a smile on your face,don't be worrying".

Jake: "Nah bro one of yous could get captain, maybe even someone else".

Anthony: "Cmon you've been training all summer you definetly have captain in the bag".

Our conversation ended there when the bell rang and we all began walking to first period. I walked in the classroom and took a seat at the table at the back with my two best friends sitting beside me.

The first few periods dragged but's it was finally lunch. My favourite time of the day. I went to my locker and put away my books and retrieved the lunch I had asked Margo to prepare for me. I walked to the cafeteria and found my friends sitting at a table. I began to eat my lunch and talk to the people that surrounded me. I soon realised that Alissa wasn't here which was odd because she said she would meet me here,so I decided to go look for her.

I looked around the hallways and there was no sign of Alissa. I walked out of the school and went towards the bleachers. When I seen her. The girl I love, making out with some blonde. It broke me inside, but I didn't want to confront her because I didn't want to break up with her after all she was my everything and I couldn't bear the thought of not being with her. I guess this is the reason that she was being so distant lately.

By now a few tears had rolled down my cheeks,I stormed off into the school and into the bathrooms. I locked myself in a cubicle a cried my eyes out for a solid 15 minutes. I loved her and she's just cheats on me, I guess her feelings we're never true. I stopped crying and decide I would go to my next period. I unlocked the cubicle door and walked up to the mirror. My eyes were sore from how much I was crying and they were now red and puffy. I turned on the tap and splashed water onto my face,using a hand dryer I dried my hands. I then walked out of the bathroom and headed towards my next period (English), which I was now late for seen as lunch ended 30 minutes ago.
