Jacklyn left home three years ago, she need to find herself. As she was passing through a small town she stopped at a truck stop.

"Where you off to this time Jacklyn?" Bill asked her. Jacklyn had a soft smile on her face. "I'm going home Bill, back to my friends and the boy I fell for." She heard people talking behind her it sounded like something was big. She turned around and gasped it was Cory and Shawn, the people she was heading home for. She stood up to go to them when she head Shawn say he wasn't going home. "Your not going home?" Cory asked the same time as his old best friend. They turned to her but didn't recognize her since she cut her hair and got a lip piercing. "Do we know you?" Cory asked with some sass. "Well I hope so." Jacklyn replied matching his sass. Shawn moved closer to her, staring into her eyes. "Hi Shawnie." She smiled. "Jack?" He asked, he ran a hand through her hair and when he reached the end, his fingers brushed over her jaw to touch her lip ring. "Ding ding." She smiled.

Bill walked over as Shawn hugged her. "Is this boy bothering you darlin'?" He asked. "No Bill this is the guy I've told you about. One of the reasons I was going home...but no she's not going home." Jacklyn turned her eyes to the ground. Shawn and Cory had shocked faces. "Your coming home?" Cory asked her, grabbing her hand in his. "Yeah Cor I am." She smiled. Shawn looked down. "I have to find myself Jacklyn...I'd love to come home with you but I can't." Jacklyn hugged Shawn again. "I understand Shawnie. Take as long as you need but come home." Shawn sighed. "I'm not sure if I'm coming home."

She pulled away from him, looking down at her feet. "Oh..well be safe and Shawn.." She trailed off. "Yes Jacklyn?" His voice was soft and sweet. It was deep then the last time she heard it. "I love you.." Shawn stared at her unsure of what to say or do. Jacklyn toke a step back, leaving the place and starting to drive home, tears trailing down her face.

~ Time skip to Josh being born~

Jacklyn was curled up in a hospital chair, waiting to see her best friend's parents again and get any updates on Josh...he wasn't doing very well. "Hey." A voice pulled her out of her trance and it was so familiar. She turned to see what everyone was looking at and there stood Shawn Hunter. His emerald eyes turned to Jacklyn. "I'm back Jack and I'm here to stay." He walked towards her as she rose to her feet. She jumped into his arms and he twirled her around. "I love you too." He whispered in her ear, making the girl smile more.
