Chapter 2

    “Oh where do we begin” I said singing to Pompeii listening to it on pandora while driving. Yes I do listen to pandora while driving it keeps my mind from THAT, and it keeps me from feeling lonely me and Cole are in different cars because he lives a little farther than me but were going to meet up probably on my birthday which I will be turning 22 and I have never gotten drunk or took a drink because I wasn’t of age and when I was I was worried about school.

 

    “ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME, DUDE WHEN YOU MERGE DON’T F*CKING DO IT LIKE THAT YOU DUMBA*S, F*CKING PIECE OF SH*T” while I was screaming at a d*ckhead I didn’t notice a song that was play when I got told of what happened. You and Me by Lifehouse. I had to pull over because I was about to cry. I tried to skip it but my phone wouldn’t let me. So I just sat there and let myself cry.

 

Tap. Tap. Tap.

 

    “Ahhh, What in the H*ll” I screamed and turned around and there was a guy who looked to be in his late 20’s and he was making motions to roll my window down so I did. “Yes?” I asked.

 

    “Oh ma’am are you okay I saw you pull over and was wondering if you needed any help?” he asked. I looked at him weird because I don’t think that has ever happened to me before.

 

    “Oh yeah I’m fine. Thanks for asking. Goodbye.” I said that and rolled up my window and drove off. I don’t know but I wanted to get out of there he gave me the creeps and he had a lot of scary tattoos.

 

    “For those days we felt like a mistake.” I started singing Marchin On by OneRepublic. I like OneRepublic so I just kept driving it should only take me about an hour to get to my house.

One hour later

 

    “Mom i’m home!” I kinda screamed and then heard padding feet so I sat my stuff down and opened my arms and she came in and into my arms. You see my mom is shorter than me I took after my dad in the height department I’m 5’11” and she is 5’4” but she could take you down in a second see she has blond hair and blue eyes and is really pretty.

    “Oh baby I was waiting for you I made my famous hot wings and dumpling.” You see my mom makes the best hot wings which I love and dumpling which is really good and there sweet dumpling so it make it so good its apples with biscuit around it with some sweet stuff its so good.

    “YAYYYYYY!” I said because I love it so I run into the kitchen and I was going to grab me a plate but mom stopped me.

 

    “LAKYN SIENNA YOU BETTER GO PUT YOUR STUFF UP RIGHT NOW!” she said and I grumbled why would she hold me from my food she knows I love food especially the stuff she made me like come on so I went and got my stuff and put it away then ran to the kitchen and got a plate made and ate it then washed my plate and put it in the dishwasher and told mom i’m going to take a nap and went to my room.

    *Did you make it??* I texted cole and got an immediate reply

    *yea I did, what did you find when you came home??* was his reply

    *my favorite food hot wings and dumplings, what about u???* was my reply

    *WAIT YOUR MOMS DUMPLING LUCKY I WANT SOME, and I had to go to a dinner and right now i’m in bed cause I said I was tired but I really was waiting for you to text me, but again back to the dumpling bring some when we meet up okay??* his reply and I laughed because I remember during sophomore year mom brought two pans of them because she knew I loved them and I shared them with Cole and he absolutely fell in love with them and so every time mom would come or I would come back we would make sure we had a pan of dumpling and me and cole would eat them.

*No I don’t want to share them with you I want them to myself lol but I will bring them well i’m going to take a nap text you later k?* I replied

*You better and yea ok love you bye* he replied now you may think its weird him saying i love you but we have a brother-sister relationship

*love you too bye* I replied and then laid down and went to sleep.
