~Flashback~
(Y/N is four years old and this happens two days before Katsuki gets his quirk)
"Daniel!! Control it! Someone's gonna get hurt if you don't control it!" Brianna yelled as Daniel couldn't stop his quirk from hurting anyone. (He's seven y/o btw)
Their younger twins, Selina and Kyle, both saw the bright light that was coming from Daniel's quirk. Them being curious little 2 year olds, ran straight into the light. Right after they went in, the light disappeared and they were nowhere to be seen.
Everyone looked in shock, while the now youngest ones, Y/N, Mai, and Sakura, looked around in wonder.
"Oh! They're playing hide and seek!! I'll be the seeker! You guys hide too!" Y/N told the younger ones, completely clueless that the younger twins were gone.
"Nee-san, What happened? Where did they go?" Sakura asked, tears filling her eyes.
"It's going to be okay, Sakura. It's gonna be fine." Lily said, hugging Sakura with tears in her eyes. She seemed to be trying to convince herself that the youngest twins weren't gone.
No one was mad at Daniel, they were just sad as Y/N and Mai looked at them, wondering why they were crying.
"Why are you crying, Nee-san? They're not gone, are they?" Mai asked, as she was starting to cry as well.
"B-but they're coming back right? So stop crying! T-they're gonna come b-back." Y/N said trying to stop herself from crying but couldn't.
Daniel looked down in despair. He had just killed his siblings and no one was blaming him for it. That is, until a certain boy started screaming.
"Y-YOU! YOU KILLED THEM! WHY IS NO ONE BLAMING YOU FOR IT WHEN IT WAS YOUR QUIRK?! I HATE YOU!! YOU'RE NOT MY BROTHER!!" Keith screamed at Daniel, rage spread across his face as tears were already spilling down to the floor. Keith was the closest to the youngest twins. He had a soft spot for them, he treated them as if they were his own kids. Now that they were gone, he didn't know what to do with his life anymore.
No one said anything for a while. It was as if no one knew what to say. Keith ran away and locked himself in his room. If anyone was the most sad, it would be Keith.
"Y-you can kick me out i-if you want." Daniel said.
"Why would we do that?" Their mom asked.
"B-because I don't deserve to be in this family, since I just killed our siblings"
"No, we're not kicking you out. You just need more control of your quirk is all." Their father said.
"I don't want to use this quirk anymore. I don't want to hurt anymore people." Daniel said with a shaky breath.
Both of their parents sighed. "If that's your choice then we're not gonna force you." (Y/M/N) (meaning your mom's name) told him, in a soft, kind voice.
~The Next day~
"What? You're leaving today? Already? But I wanted to know what your quirk was!" Katsuki said, sadness in his voice.
Y/N sighed. Her family hasn't told anyone about what happened yesterday. As much as she wanted to tell him, have him comfort her and hug her, she couldn't. Her parents told her not to tell anyone, not until they're ready.
"Yeah, I wanted to stay but we had to go for bus-i-ness trips." Y/N said sadly. Unfortunately, she just had decided to tell Katsuki when the day was ending and they had to go home.
"Well, I have to go now. I'll see you as soon as I come back okay?"
"Wait, N/N-chan, when will I see you again"
I don't know, but I just know that I'll see you again. I have a gut feeling and I always trust my gut to lead me."
"That's weird, but okay, I'll trust you."
Right when Y/N turned around she was whipped back and Katsuki had tackled her in a hug.
"I'm gonna m-miss you. Just come back, okay?" Katsuki said while tears starting pouring down his face. (Everyone is crying and now I'm starting to cry 😭)
"S-stop crying, Katsuki. You're gonna make me cry." Y/N said as she tightened the hug.
"Promise me that we'll see each other again" Katsuki pulled out his pinky for Y/N to make the promise.
"I promise." And she intertwined her pinky with his.
