"Okay that will be all. I'll see you next week correct?"

"Yeah"

"Okay well, take care... Oh and Baekhyun, don't forget to take your meds."

"I won't. I'll see you next week Dr. Kang"

That conversation with the psychiatrist keeps playing in Baekhyun's head over and over again. He was supposed to go back for his next session yesterday but he was't able to due to his mother being in the hospital.

Flashback to two days ago

Incoming call from Seoul Public Hospital- Emergency

Decline - Answer

Hello?

Hello, Is this Byun Baekhyun?

Y-yes, it is.

Your mother was in a really bad car accident and needs to have emergency surgery. Your brother was also in the accident but isn't as harmed, we would like if you came as soon as possible.

O-okay I'm on my way.

Call Ended

Back to present time

Baekhyun was sititng in the waiting room on his phone while the doctors were in with his mom. His brother was allowed to go home earlier in the day so he left to get a shower and change before coming back to wait with Baekhyun. Both boys were on their phones when a nures came into the room.

"Mr. Byun?" The nurse called into the large room that was about halfway filled with either patients or visitors.

"Yes?!" Both Baekhyun and his brother said in unison before immediatly standing up.

"You both can come with me" The brothers followed the nurse into a small room with their mother another nurse and the doctor. Their mother was hooked up to machines and was completely knocked out.

"Are both her sons?" The doctor who was slightly shorter than baekhyun spoke out. He had a name tag that said "Dr. Kim" on it.

"Yes we are" Baekbeom, Baekhyuns brother replied.

"Im sorry to tell you that in the accident your mother got a peice of glass got caught inbetween her ribs which caused her to loose a lot of blood during surgery. We have her on life support, we don't know if she will wake up or not though. Its up to you what you want to do." Doctor Kim gave the brothers the 'im deeply sorry' look and showed them the bandage on her ribs. The blood was seeping through the gauze and was even getting on her gown.

"I- uh" Baekhyun was sturggling to speak as he tried to hold in his tears.

"I'll give you two the room" Doctor Kim and the two nurses left Baekhyun and Baekbeom in the room alone with their mother. Without saying anything Baekbeom took his younger brother in his arms as he cried. Baekhyun wasn't as strong as Baekbeom, he doesn't cry with Baekhyun, he just holds him.

"W-what does he mean i-its up to u-us? Does h-he want us to t-take her off life s-support?" Baekhyun is now shaking uncontrolably. He suffers from Panic Disorder which means at any moment he can get panic attack of feel completely terrified. His whole body, especially his hands, shake, he has chest pains, he can't speak, chills or he even gets sick from time to time.

"Hey hey hey, calm down its okay. Count down from 100, its fine." Baekbeom lets go of his brother to give him space so he can breath and rubs his back. "Its okay Baek, come on I'll count down with you, right, one-hundred..." Baekhyun doesn't make any noise but he nods along with his brothers counting as his rapid breathing slows. He finally is able to make a sound at around 78 and continues down to one. He is still shaking when his Baekbeom gives him another hug.

"Baekhyun I'm letting you choose what to do-"

"I-I'll do it" Baekhyun suddenly says before Baekbeom can finish.

"Baek are you sure?"

"Y-yeah, she would want me to, I f-feel like if I don't then its all I would think about, it would cause me to panic m-more." Baekhyun finally manages to say a whole sentence as Baekbeom just smiles and hugs him tighter.

"I think so too, I'm proud of you Baek."

"T-thanks."

Skip to the next week

It's been almost a week since Baekhyun decided to take his mother off life support. He skipped two more sessions with Dr. Kang and Baekbeom left to go live with friends back where they grew up before their mother,him and Baekhyun moved to Seoul. Baekhyun also decided to put their mothers house on the market since neither of them lived there anymore.

Their mothers funeral was in four days and Baekhyun was freaking out thinking he was going to have a panic attack at any second. Baekbeom was staying in Baekhyun's apartment and everything was set for the funeral ecept the flowers that had to be ordered the day before. This was probably the worst time in Baekhyun's life.
