"Alex?" I heard from my room. I recognized the farmilliar voice that came from outside my door. It was my dad. "Yeah, dad? What is it?" I didnt get a reply. After about a minute I figured it would be best to find out what was happening. So i opened my door and all of the sudden, "HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY ALEX!" Oh right. Today was my birthday. Okay, so my dad stood there with my cake with a party hat on his head. I looked at him for a minute and than said "Can I go back to sleep now?" "Aww, why you have a cake to eat!"
Okay fine. I thought to myself. I will eat cake and than go back to bed.
So I walked past my dad and into the kitchen down the hall, past the console room and up the stairs and right and than left and theres the kitchen. Oh, did i mention i live in the Tardis? And my dad is the doctor. And my mom is river. Well anyways, I saw my mom standing there and i went over to give her a good morning hug. She returned it and she looked at me and said "Happy birthday" "Thanks mom, so how old am I officially?" I asked. "Your 300." My dad said before my mom could say anything. Oh wow. Thats a big number. "Cool." I said. And grabbed a plate and a cake slicer from the cupboard. I started to cut myself a slice of cake when i heard a noise. I stopped, set down the plate and cake slicer on the table and went over to the top of the stairs leading down to the console room. Sitting on the console was a small present. I went down the stairs to the console and picked up the present. It said on it,
From the tardis. Enjoy your birthday!
I smiled and opened the present. It was my very own sonic screwdriver. "Thank you." I whispered under my breath. I was now like my dad. And we would go on adventures together. I couldnt wait.
