I plopped down on bed as soon as I got in the room. And my phone started ringing. Alec the screen said, obviously. "Adalineeeeeee." "Alecccc." "So how was your first day as a college girl?" "Exhausting." "Awe love what happened." and now I'm gonna tell him every single detail. Cause that's what we do. "This goddamn place is huge. I got so lost and I went into this abandoned place with a bench and a tree and I started hearing voices,and, I saw these eyes staring at me. Alec they were like staring straight at me and I I started to run. I think I'm going crazy. Alec do you think I'm going crazy? " " Adi, Adaline catch your breath." he said and I paused sucking in a deep breath. " Now this is your first day in NYU. The place you thought was too good to be true for you to get in and you were hoping for the worst you were probably hallucinating. " he can read me like a freaking book. " How the fuck would, why would I fucking hallucinate something that fucking creepy. " I swear a lot when I'm scared and now Alec knows I'm scared. " Adaline stop swearing goddammit. Breathe now listen to me. You probably saw some animal and you thought it was human or a ghost or some shit, that messed up your brain and you thought the wind was saying something. I don't need to be a therapist or anything to understand you cause I know you're stressed and I know your scared. And you are tired, okay? " " Yeah, yeah you're probably right. Okay" I calmed down. "Oh hun I know I'm right. Now tell me did you find your way to the dorm safely." he asked, sounding like a big brother, something I wanted but I never had. And Alec came in to be the perfect fit. "Yeah I then ran into this boy." "Is he hot?" "Oh my god Alec you would possibly not believe me if I told you. He had the most mesmerising green eyes." "Go on." "He had brown curly and messy hair that fell on his forehead and he had a very cute smile with dimples." "Not as cute as mine right?" "Don't flatter yourself Lennon , And he was as tall as you and he was so kind." "Niceeeee girl is he single." "Single, I hope so. But I'm very sure he's straight." "Oh yeah, how?" "He did a great deal of flirting with a women to ask the directions." "Dammit, He didn't know the directions?" "No, he was new too so we were both lost." "Ohhhhhh well do you think he's the one." "He's very charming, he seems like trouble. I don't know Alec. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship just yet." "Yeah okay don't rush it sweetheart." I heard the door open and in came a very drunk girl along with a boy holding him by his waist. They came in stumbling on the way. The boy didn't seem as drunk as the girl was. I winced as something knocked over, was she my roommate? Alec was still rambling something over the phone but I was too distracted by my supposed roommate. " Alec? " " Yes. " " Can I call you later." "Sure is everything alright." "Yeah um my roommate just came in." "Oh okay, goodnight Adi." "Goodnight Al." and with that I hung up making my way over to the drunk girl in front of me. "Hi umm I'm Adaline are you Eleanor?" "YESSSSSS OH MY GOD THAT IS MY NAME. HEY ROOMIEEEEE." She said hugging me tight. I laughed. "Yeah c'mon Eli let's get you to bed okay." the boy said he had a very soft voice. He at once reminded me of Peter Pan don't ask me why? But he looked so alive and lost boy type and so did Eleanor she looked fun, and very life like even though she had makeup smeared all over and was very slurry. I hope they're a couple. "But I don't wanna sleep. Louuuuuuuuuuuuuu." she whined looking at him. I just stood there awkwardly. "No Eli baby c'mon." he said dragging her with him. She looked at me smiling and mouthed a 'goodnight'. I smiled and did the same. "Love do you need some water." he asked setting her down on bed. "I need some you." she said grabbing him by his neck. I quickly turned away and went over to my bed to unpack some clothes or atleast find some for now. All the luggage was scattered everywhere. I could still hear the two whispering and eventual giggles by Eleanor. Minutes later the boy came near me. With a slight smile. He had amazing blue eyes. What is it with NYU and hot boys. "Umm Adaline right?" he inquired "Yeah." I said. "I'm Louis, Eleanor's boyfriend." he said holding out a hand I shook it. So they are a couple yay. "Nice to meet you Louis." "Yeah I'm very sorry about that." he motioned to the sleeping girl. "There was this welcoming party at one of my friends dorms. So we had a little fun." "Oh that's alright no need to worry." I said smiling. "Good yeah so I left some Advil on her bedside can you please make sure she drinks them." "Sure, she is probably gonna have a major headache in the morning." "Yeahhh" he laughed "Okayyyyy so I'll be on my way. I have a roommate to welcome too. Gotta give him some of the sass from the sass masta." "Sass masta?" "Yeah. That's me." "Okayyyyy" I laughed shaking my head. "Okay bye. Good night." he said leaving. "Yeah bye." And with that he left and I got into my Pj's and plopped onto the bed. College starts tomorrow and I gotta be fresh and pretty for my first day. Cause we'll I gotta socialise. I promised Alec. So..... Imma give it a shot.
