Scotty Bevlin

I laid on my bed with my arms sprawled out, my forearms were hanging off the bed feeling like weights, I had a small smile and my cheeks were damp from all the tears I shed. All I heard were small drips on the Mahogany planked floor in my room, my vision slowly became blurry, I finally felt peaceful from all the dreadful years I've been alive. Until my brother walked in, he had his arms crossed in an angry matter as he let out the most annoyed tone of voice.
"Get your la-"
His mouth gaped open as he let out a blood-curdling scream, everyone in the household ran to my room as they saw me on my bed with my wrists split wide open and blood dripping on the mahogany floors. Bonnie my little brother's Nanny went off to call an ambulance, my father ran up to me trying to help me by closing the slits, my forearm was full of scars, old cuts, and new cuts all of them bleeding at once, my stepmother stood there shaking her head as my father cries, my stepmother was always disappointed in me and she always hated my 'rude' behaviour, as my father was loving and caring. I heard and felt everything but I was frozen in place unable to move, seeing their horrified faces broke me even more, then seeing my stepmother's unfazed face made it feel like I got a punch in the gut. Within minutes I black out.*** *** *** ***
I wake hours later in a stiff and elevated bed, my wrists ached, I tried to open my eyes but a bright light beamed down on my face, I groan and cover my eyes barely having any movement as I cut the tendon as well, the first thing I think about is how I failed, how could I fail the most simplest things. After my eyes got used to the light and I fully open them seeing my stepmother boiling with anger as my father sat in the back filling out the paperwork, my stepmother gives me a death stare, she walks up to me and grabs my wrist, she tightens her grip and squeezes the wound, she leans in closer.
"Don't you see what you have done. If you were to do it, do it right!"
She whispers as she walked out of the room, her cold breath sent shivers down my spine and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand. My wrist began to throb. I sat there with my fists clenched as much as I could make them, I took deep breaths trying to calm myself down and take the pain. My father just sighed and gave me an apologetic look, he walks out to my stepmother.Evelyn Boa

I walk down the hall, a large number of kids form into mini-masses around the hall talking, I overheard some of the conversations but they were about Scotty Bevlin one of the most popular guys, I didn't think much of it as there is usually drama. As I walk to my locker I see Brooke Shander, Scotty's slutty girlfriend, she was crying as most of her friends went to pat her on the back, she wasn't very popular and I overheard her many times talking about how she will use him so she can sleep with his basketball teammates, I wanted to tell Scotty but he only talked to me a few times, mainly me thanking him for standing up for me towards his bitchy girlfriend. I sigh deeply when I see a large mass of students around my locker, I push past them hearing them talk.
"Who knew Scotty would do this?"
I slightly tilt my head to listen.
"Such an attention whore isn't he, he can't be fine one day then the next he goes off slitting his wrists."
Some people chuckle and laugh, I raise my eyebrows and look down at my sweater sleeves, I sigh and I slam my locker causing everyone around me getting startled, I didn't grab anything or put anything away, as though I was a loner my only friend Jason Mahelo who was quite popular walked up to me and asked me where I was going, I sigh once more and shake my head lightly, my long wavy Auburn hair sways
"My mother needs me."
My sweet tone of voice changed into a serious slightly deeper tone. I walk out of the school unable to turn around, I don't even know him, why can't I just turn around and walk away. I get to my little old blue truck, with a Red Suzuki GSX-R 1000 that was strapped on the bed of the truck, I hop in and begin to make my way towards the hospital, I was afraid of what was happening, I don't know why I'm doing this. Once I see the hospital I nearly brake in the middle of the road, my heart pumps profusely as I promised myself I would never come back here after what happened a few years ago, my breathing speeds up as I park in the parking lot, as I step out and begin my way towards the door I see a wealthy woman by appearance, she was wearing a silk beige dress shirt and beige silk pants, she was wearing multiple gold jewelry expessically with diamonds, you could see them shine from a ways away, she was fuming you could practically see the steam come out of her ears, as I walk past she gives me the dirtiest look that any could imagine as I was wearing Black Nike joggers with a baggy white long sleeve shirt tied at my lower abdomen making it slightly tighter, the shirt read across my chest 'So Extra', I sigh and look down as I move my knee length hair to my back, I've been growing my hair without cutting it for quite a long time, my hair is a light auburn with long front layers, I tuck my long layers behind my ears but its no use as it untucks itself almost instantly, I walk in while the palm of my hands were sweating, I head to the receptionist and ask for Scotty Bevlins Room, once she told me I thanked her and kept my head down as I walked up to the room B19, I lightly knock, once I heard a faint 'Come in', I open the door slowly keeping my head down
"Evelyn, what are you doing here?"
He asked, I widen my eyes as I was shocked he knew my name
"Oh uh, I wanted to see if you're alright."
I say very quietly and I look up with a small smile. His eyebrows were raised and a small smile spread across his face. It seemed like he was waiting for someone to care.****
