Unaccidental moment

It is a bright day on the Bird Island and everybirds lives in harmony, until one bird ran very fast, with the cake on his hand.

That bird is Chuck, a very fast yellow bird and stealing something is not uncommon with this guy. Right now he is running away, with the cake, from a police bird chasing him.

"Haha can't catch me !"
"Stop now or you will be forced to stop ! Hey get back here !"

Thing happened very fast; flowers got scattered on the ground, the apple stand is broken and two lovebirds who are kissing at that moment got interrupted. You know Chuck, he's just that fast.

"Haha you can't stop me ! This cake is mine !" Said Chuck as he keep running and running away, eventually the Police got tired and ran slower. But then, Chuck bumped to someone and fell to the ground, along with the cake.

(Uh my head...wait, why do i feel something strange on my beak...what the ?) After Chuck regain his consciousness, he slowly opened his eyes and what he saw really shocked him; Red's beak touches Chuck's beak, which ad you can see, they kissed. Red blushed and he's going to break the kiss but his body has a different idea and he couldn't move as he commanded to. Chuck, on the other hand, was the one who break the kiss and said "I-i'm sorry ! I didn't mean to-"
"Hey ! Bring the cake back !"
"Oh shoot ! I gotta go, I'm sorry about that !" as he ran away with the cake, which luckily still in good condition and clean.

Red didn't even have the chance to say a word and all he can think at the moment is the "incident" that just happened with Chuck. "What was i thinking ? It's probably just an accident, like i don't really love him or anything." But his mind proves him wrong because he often think of the kiss, especially Chuck.
