I was just enjoying a nice, cold swim in the pool, but as soon as I step out of the freezing cold water as to ensure I don't get hypothermia, I start bleeding incessantly.

What is happening? I feel so numb. I'm just sliding around in an ocean of my own blood. I'm literally sliding across the floor due to the excessive amount of crimson stain lying beneath me.

Next, my skin starts to melt away. Why is this happening? It's so warm in here too. I'm actually baking right now.

I look down to the parts of my body which are not covered in blood. If I even have any parts of my body out of it. I don't remember cutting myself. Or injuring myself at all. I'm not on my period so... what?

As my skin melts away to blend in with my own personally made pool, I start to feel my soul being taken out of my body. I'm dying, I can feel it. Anybody would know just by seeing it. I mean, you're just reading this and you knew I was dying the moment you opened this chapter.

My head emerges into the thick liquid. I'm drowning. And I'm drowning fast. Why does my life have to end like this every time?

And so, the life of a young child is taken once again. This is how it always happens. Every time. Now, the poor child is going to have to be reborn into another body. Maybe identical. Maybe a different shape. It doesn't matter. It always ends the same.

Well actually sometimes it ends differently. They can end up in a pool of their own blood or they can end up crushed to death. Either way it's gruesome.

Whoever is reading this, young or old, tall or short, black or white or yellow, you are so lucky you don't have to live the life of this child.

The life of this being.

The life of an ice cube.
