Chapter 2

Virgil's pov

I got up and stretched. I was on the couch? Oh right, I fell asleep after taking care of Patton and Logan.

I go to the kitchen and start to make breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes for Roman, me and Patton and bacon and eggs for Logan. 

I take Pattons plate to his room and knock on his door. "Come in" I hear. 

I go in and see Patton writing a card for Roman. "Watcha doin Patton" I ask. "Can you give this to Roman?" Patton asks, giving the card to me. I nod. "You feeling better" I ask. "Yeah, I feel a bit better. Thanks kiddo, I'm proud of you" Patton smiles. I smile and hug Patton. "I'll try and fix him, I promise" I whisper. "And I'll help" Patton replies. 

I smile and leave to give Logan his breakfast. "Knock knock" I yell into his room. "Enter" he yelled back. I come in and see him looking at his ceiling. It had star patterns on there, so it looked cool. "Hey, I brought your eggs and bacon" I say, putting it on his bedside table. "Oh thank you Virgil. You didn't have to do this for me" he states, smiling softly. "Well someone has to look after you lot" I joke. Logan chuckles and looks back at his ceiling. "Do you think we can help Roman if we cause this?" He asked, frowning. "I know we can Logan. We have too" I sigh. "Well I'll do what I can to help" he says, looking determined. "Ok, I better give Roman his food now" I smile, leaving.

I arrive at Romans room and see the crack slightly larger. Only a tiny bit though. I go in and see Roman on his bed looking at the sword on his wall. I remove it and put his food on his lap. He looks at it and sighs. "Why won't you leave me alone" he asks. "Cause we all care about you and your health. We miss you Ro" I sigh. He looks away. "No you don't, don't lie to me" he hisses. "I'm not though. I care, Patton hasn't looked after himself. He barely leaves his room, trying to find a time where you were actually happy with us. Logan has worked non-stop. I had to force the laptop away from him so he could rest. And me.....I'm trying to fix you and look after you all. Ro.....we need you. Thomas needs you. Patton needs you. Logan needs you. I need you. Please....let us in" I beg, tears escaping. Roman looks at me, seeing the sincerity in my eyes. "Fine......but it'll take awhile" he sighs. I grin and go to leave. "Come out when your ready" I smile, turning around quickly. "Sure" he states. 

I close the door and grin. We were one step closer to fixing him. I see the door look less cracked. I go out and put on Disney songs, cause I felt good today. Patton was first to come out and join me, Logan shortly after. "Hey kiddo, whatcha doin?" Patton asked. "Putting some Disney in, Cause I feel like it" I state. I hear Romans door open and see him come out. Patton gasped and ran to hug him, Roman shocked. Logan was next to hug Roman. "Why..." he asked. "Cause we care" I inform. Roman just goes back to his room, the crack growing. 

I look down in defeat. This will take a looooong time. "Hey kiddo, we'll help him, don't worry" Patton assured. I look at him, tears starting to fall. I had been so strong for the other two that I had forgotten to let how I feel out. "I miss old Roman" I manage, starting to sob.

Logan and Patton hold me in there arms as I sobbed. 

We'd get there eventually.
