Friends with BTS?

Taeyeon's P.O.V

You were walking around the Bighit building with Jennie, on your way to the lunch room to eat. You had just finished dance practice and so had Jennie so you both had some extra time. Since most people in the building had been training dance or singing or rapping, everyone was wearing comfortable clothing. You were wearing some black tight, thin shorts and and loose white shirt while holding a water bottle in your hand and your phone in the other. It was 12.40 right now so the lunch room would probably be full of people. Once you reached the lunch room, you went in and walked up to the food court. You took a plate and filled it was lettuce, corn beef and tomatoes before taking a seat by the last free table.

Jennie: Why do you eat such simple meals everyday? 4 ingredients?

Taeyeon: I need to stay in shape. It's fine though, I don't hate the meals too much.

Jennie: ok...

Taeyeon: So how was practice?

Jennie: good! We are going to be releasing a mini album soon.

Taeyeon: Really?! That's great, I'm so proud of you!

Jennie: Thanks bby <3 So....

Taeyeon: What?

Jennie: You and Jin?

Taeyeon: We haven't talked since that event.

Jennie: Why not?

Taeyeon: I don't know. I guess it's like I don't actually know him anymore. It's like we are strangers again...

Jennie: ughhh you two were the cutest couple ever. I miss you two together...

Taeyeon: I do miss him. Although the event was extremely awkward, it was still nice to hear his voice again and see him.

Jennie: He misses you too! So why don't you just become friends again.

When you finished eating and talking you decided to go to the dance room to relax since it was was coldest room in the building. As you walked through the corridor, you were looking a Jennie and didn't realize that someone was walking towards you. All of a sudden you bumped into a figure and fell down on your back, groaning a bit. You opened your eyes and was met by a hand. You looked up to see who's it was a saw Jin looking down at you worried. You took his hand and held held your tight while pulling you up. When you were up it look a longer amount of time for him to let go than you thought it was. You didn't stop looking at each other for a good 10 seconds before the others around you interupted.

BTS: Hyung we'll meet you in the dance room

Jennie: Same Taeyeon.

Jennie left immediately together with BTS while talking. You rolled your eyes at her, knowing she would probably go with BTS to one of the dance rooms so you would need to see Jin for an even longer amount of time.

Taeyeon: I should probably g-

Jin: I need to talk to you. Come.

You nodded and followed Jin into an empty room. It was a conference room.

Jin: I really miss you Taeyeon. Can we at least be friends again? I hate seeing you at events and in the BigHit building and not be able talk to you. I miss hugging you and having you close to me.

Taeyeon: Jin... we can't be friends...

Jin: Why though...

Taeyeon: Because... I can't be together with you... I don't want to have to see you everyday if I can't be happy with you like we used to be...

Jin came up to you and you looked down and the wooden floor underneath your body. He put hair arms around your head and back and pulled himself close to you as stood there taking the hug in awkwardly. You did your best to keep the tears in as you put your arms around his waist and hugged him back. You could feel him smiling.

Jin: I miss this... please Taeyeon...

You just nodded and he hugged you tighter. Once he let go, you smiled at him.

Jin: So what are you going to be doing right now? I saw Jennie following the boys.

Taeyeon: Yeah, so I'll have to go find her and she'll probably make me stay with you guys.

Jin seemed to be hiding his smile and you two left to find the dance room. It was silent on the way to the room but not an awkward silence. When you finally found the room, you both entered together. Jin opened the door for you to go in first.

Taeyeon: Hey Jennie.

Jennie: Hey! Let's stay here for a bit

I fucking knew it.

Taeyeon: ok...

Jennie: The guys are really nice. You should get to know them.

Jennie and the boys had made a circle together so they moved, allowing you and Jin to sit down as well.

Jimin: So you two...

Jin: We are gonna try be friends again and see what happens.

Jungkook and Taehyung: FINALLY

Taeyeon: huh?

Jungkook: Jin never stops talking about you.

You looked at Jin and saw that he looked embarrassed.

Taeyeon: Really?

Jin: uhhhhhhh

Namjoon: He has really missed you

You smiled at him. You, Jennie and the rest of the boys talked for about an hour and got to know each other. You all shared numbers and made a group chat as well.

Hoseok: So you must practice a lot. We see you here all the time.

Taeyeon: Yeah, I dance as much as possible so I can improve.

Hoseok: Can we see?

Taeyeon: I guess...

You went over to the stereo and connected your phone to it.

Taeyeon: What do you want me to dance to?

Hoseok: Do you know any of our dances?

Taeyeon: I know DNA...

Jin: Really?

Taeyeon: A few of my fans requested that I do a video dancing to fake love so I learnt it.

Hoseok: Who's part?

Taeyeon: Mainly Jin's

Jin smiled as you began playing the music and dancing. Throughout the "performance" you looked very professional and clean. After you finished everyone clapped and you sat back down.

Jungkook: You could replace Jin hyung.

Jin: YAH! I'm good at dancing.

Jungkook: oK whatever you say.

You laughed as Jin rolled his eyes. When you finished you hugged all the boys, saying bye and left with Jennie.

Jennie: What was fun.

Taeyeon: Yeah, it was.

Jennie: I'm happy you and Jin are trying to be friends.

Taeyeon: me too
