Her New Life in Hawkins

Time skip--- Hawkins middle---8:01am

Today was Monica's first day back to school. Lucky me the school let her have all the same classes as me.  I told her that we had science first, Mr. Clarke is awesome, but I recently found out that Dustin loved Mr. Clarke so I hope Monica does too.

" I have to go to the office to meet the principal, OK?" I heard Monica say as we were walking to science. I hope everything goes well.

"OK, see you later!"

"Bye!" She waves to me as she walks to the office.

I walked in to Science with no one beside me. Mr. Clarke looked at me and I walked over to his desk.

"Where is our new student?" He asked me. I didn't know what to say but I had to tell the truth right?

"Meeting the principal" I said with a nod from Mr. Clarke.  I sat down there was a desk beside me that was empty. Soon I was lost in my own thoughts, then I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. My thoughts cleared away and I saw Monica sitting next to me.

"A, open your science book-"She whispered

"To where?" I whispered back. Well, crap! now I 'm behind in science.

"The case of Phineas Gage" she said with a smile like the one when we first met.

Science flew by, when it got interesting I hear the school bell. Lunch was more like a walk and talk, sense this was her first and last year of middle school I had to show her around.

"This is the gym-" I was cut off.

"Where eleven communicated with will in the upside down?" she said. Like how am I supposed to know the details of every thing that happened in this town.

"Uh, yeah" I said like I TOTALLY knew what she was talking about.

When the tour was done I realized it was the middle of our math class. I hope our teacher will forgive us. We rushed down the hall to get to class, I have never been late in my life!

"I don't think Mrs. Coleman will let us In class so late." I said walking back to the library. The library is where we waited until our next class. I tried to get my science homework done as quick as I can. Monica was still looking for a book.

"I think I hear the bell we should get to English" I say as I clean up my science homework.

"Uh, thanks for showing me around, I appreciated it." Monica says, following me out the door. I could tell she felt like she missed a big part of both of our lives.

"No problem, wait right here I need to tell Mrs. Coleman why we missed class and pick up our homework." I said walking to her class. When I come back she is talking to some of my friends.

"Oh god your such a nerd!" I hear Sophie, one of my friends, say. Monica looks hurt. Little know fact about me if you mess with any of my friends you deal with me and trust me that will not be pretty.

"HEY! Back off you a-holes" I say they look at me then walk away cautiously. I see Monica looking like she was going to cry. "Hey, if that ever happens again tell them to back off. And if they don't just come get me and then They will, trust me!" I say with a reassuring look.

"Thanks, I didn't know where they came from" she said all shook up. What a great first day, am I right? I give her a hug and we walked to English.
