Her New Life in Hawkins

I got in the car and started wonder away in my thoughts, if you have not noticed I slip away into my thoughts a lot its because it helps me cope with the real world like, my parents never being there for me, Monica being gone for so long and these feelings I have been having ever sense Monica came home. 

"Where did he say he was going?" I snap out of my thought to hear Steve say while driving out of our neighborhood. What did he say? his house right?

"To our house" I hear Moni say. We start to pull up to their house.

"Do you think he went to someone else house?" I heard Steve say. I don't spot his bike. I start to get nervous about him.

"If he went anywhere it would be Mike's and then he would of told us." I say to Steve trying to point out the fact no one knew where the heck he was. We drive around town and every back road there was in our small town of Hawkins. His bike was no where to be found. About an hour past by and no luck. I could tell Steve was starting to get nervous. We continued to drive. One teenager who was the babysitter and 2 frantic girls in the back of the car. Then I see Steve turn on to an unfamiliar road. It dawned on me that earlier Dustin said  that he wanted to check if the tunnels had opened back up.

We dive up on to a farm. Then right there in front of us is a bike. Dustin's bike. I look around to see if I could see him. I saw a hole and then I heard Monica say something under her breath. Then she dragged me out of the car. Then we both walked over to the hole and we started to get down closer to it. Then I feel Steve pull us back.

"No way am I letting you two go down there." Steve said. Was he serious I could not him just go by him self that is basically suicide.

"Um no Me and Monica are going with you!" I said trying to reason with my stubborn brother

"What? No you will stay here its not safe" Could Steve actually be putting us on the bench 

"Steve!" Monica said louder that I think she expected "My brother is down there and you just said it was not safe so I have to see if he is safe. Please let us go with you. We will do anything you say, I promise" Promise? Promise!?

"Fine, but if any of you die i am getting the blame" Steve said while helping me down first. I helped Monica down sort of. I was so amazed at my surroundings I didn't get Monica's foot. But she landed on her feet luckily.

"Ok, girls put your shirts over your nose." Steve said making sure we would not breathe in the toxins in the air.

Monica was just as amazed as I was. I had to grab her arm and kind of drag her to keep up with Steve. we when to check the other direction of Steve.

  I hear some one cursing from the other direction. It was obviously Steve but what happened.

"UHH? HELLLOOOO! COME OVER HERE!"I heard Steve say. Me and Monica run as fast as was could to see a body covered in vines. The body of Dustin Henderson
