Umji P.O.V
Most women will be happy that finally, their day came and they will be married to the guy they love, but to me, this marriage is just paperwork nothing to be happy about.
"Umji!!'' I hear my cheerful friend call me, I turned around and gave them a smile.
"Why are you girls early? You all know that there are still four more hours into all of us have to get ready, right?"I told them as I check the time.
"We know, but we wanted to come and help. We all know how much you have to deal with,'' Eunha told me while putting her arm around me.
"Thank you, but I just want to be alone. I had a long night yesterday that you girls won't believe,'' I said while I remember what happened last night with Suga. Yuju was about to talk into someone spoke before her.
"All of this for a wedding? That's amazing, It makes me want to become a royal." We all knew who it was, I mean there's nobody in this castle who will speak up her mind.
"Hyejin, good to see you.'' I was lying to her after she is related to Suga and what I found out yesterday made me feel sad.
"You don't have to lie to me Umji, remember I can read your mind.'' She walked up to us and which each step she took time seem to stop.
''Now that we are alone I came to tell you something important.'' I look around.
''What did you do?" I asked her.
"What I did doesn't matter right now, what matters is that I can give you some clues to answer the question that you been wondering about since last night.'' She got my attention for sure, but she didn't have to stop everything around us.
''Tell me,'' I command her not wanting to waste time.
"Your birthday holds more value than you think, sure you were born, but something important happened on your birthday.'' I waited for more but she didn't talk.
''That's all? I expected more.'' She rolled her eyes at me.
"Not everything in life will be handed to you, sometimes you must work to get what you want, but I do have something else to tell you." Out of nowhere, she pulls out a notebook.
"Where did you get that?" She tossed me the book.
"It's just a copy remember I can see everything people do as long as its the past. At first, I was quite honored I wasn't on your list but then I was sad that you didnt even thought of me. I thought you were a person who treasures friendship, but when I saw the name of the person who you chose to sacrifice I was quite shocked." She came up to me but was looking behind me.
''You know nothing." I hissed at her.
"Ohh... but I do, you were willing to sacrifice Sowon just to change the past of someone who already hates you enough that he is willing to kill your family. Just cause poor Sowon is already dying it doesn't mean you should kill her. " I stood there quiet for a few seconds into I spoke up.
"It wasn't the best decision I have made in my lifetime, but everything was going to work fine I mean after I turn back in time Sowon will come back.'' She giggles at me.
''No she won't, that's the thing when you sacrifice someone they are dead forever not even turning back in time will bring them back, that's the price you have to pay, I mean you should just have stick to sacrificing your father, now he's a real jerk.'' I was confused it never said that when I was reading the book.
"How do you know all of this? it could be all fake just for you too scared me." She stood silently only looking at me.
"If you love and care for Suga so much then don't sacrifice your friend she has a bright future of head of her and she has a child for god sake, instead sacrifice your love for Suga because we all know that your love for each other is the reason both of you are hurting. That's all I can tell you and hope that you make the right choice.'' After that, she disappears and everything when back to normal, but to me, time still seems to be stopped.
