12 weeks...
the babies are the size of peas like two peas in a pod. It's crazy I'm already 3 months into this pregnancy. It's crazy to think. We haven't really told anyone yet... well besides my mom. I wanted to tell her and I had to tell somebody. We just felt she was the first right person to tell next to John. We just didn't want to risk it with all the risks that come with the first trimester with telling everyone else. We didn't want to risk it with knowing we could have lost a twin or both.
We haven't really seen much family since the wedding. My mom was in town it was perfect. We woke up this morning. Ricky looked at me " hey mommy!" I laughed " hi..." He looked at me " so were telling everyone now..." I smiled " I guess so.. we have to tell John first!" We sat John down. I smiled " John your dad and I have to tell you something very important... I have something growing in my belly.. a baby actually two of them..." Ricky smiled " Mommy's pregnant John!" John smiled " so Mommy's gonna have a baby..." I smiled " no mommy's gonna have two babies... were having twins just like the ones you had in your class last year... your gonna be a big brother!" He smiled " I am..." I smiled " yeah your gonna be a great big brother!"
They found out around 10 weeks just a few days after we did.
Next it was to tell my dad,Kathleen,Grace,and Tom. I hugged my dad " hey dad how's it going.." He looked at me " not bad Ams.." We got to the family dinner. I smiled " Ricky and I have an announcement to make..." My dad looked at me " and..." I smiled " were pregnant!" Grace got up to hug me " oh my god seriously!" I smiled " yes.... but theres something else..." Ricky grabbed my hand " were having twins!" My dad smiled "twins! seriously!" I smiled " yeah we were shocked..." He looked at me " I thought you guys were gonna wait..." I laughed " we did.. but everything happens for a reason and were ready..." Kathleen smiled " well congrats..." My dad looked at me " did you tell your mother...?" I smiled " we did right around when we found out... we went to visit and we could hide anything.."
Flashback to Anne finding out
I looked at my mom " mom we have something to tell you..." she looked at me " what's wrong.." I smiled "nothing.... it's good news! were pregnant!" She hugged me "Amy!!! Really?" I smiled " yeah we are..." She looked at me " how far along are you..?" I smiled " 10 weeks with twins.." She hugged me some more " that's amazing... I thought you guys were waiting..." I looked at Ricky " we were but we weren't exactly preventing anything... and were married and happy..." She smiled "I'm happy for you two..."
