Hoseok and Sehun have been hanging out for over a month now, and their bond grew stronger over that time. They were the best of guy friends by now, but Hoseok wished that there was something bigger between them; something similar to what he lost years ago.
Only today, their encounter was a pure coincidence.
It was a cold Saturday morning, so Hoseok went to a coffee shop near his diner to fetch a caramel macchiato to warm him up. Seeing Sehun there was a pleasant surprise at first, until he took note of his strong eyes staring at the people passing by on the sidewalk through the large glass window. His lips were stick straight as he gripped the warm cardboard cup with his cold hands.
"Hey, Sehun. Didn't expect to see you here."
Sehun brushed some ebony strands away from his face and turned to look at Hoseok who was now taking a seat beside him.
"Me neither," he snickers.
"Why do you look so down today?"
"I'm just tired, I guess."
"Aww, do you want me to walk you back home?"
"I drove here."
"Well, what can I do to make you less tired?"
"I don't know."
But an idea sparked in Hoseok's mind at that very moment.

The view was pristine, and the breeze was warmer and gentle. Hoseok sat with Sehun at the edge of his minivan's trunk, only a few centimeters of space between their bodies.
Since Sehun was still tired from earlier, he scooted closer to the redhead and rested his head on his shoulder.
"You slept the whole damn ride," Hoseok chuckled lowly as he felt his cheeks begin to match his hair.
"I know, but I'm still tired."
They sat in silence for a few moments before Sehun gathered up the courage to break it.
"Hey, Hoseok?"
"Hmm?"
"Is Y/N your girlfriend?"
"No, why?"
"I see you hanging out a lot with her. Plus, she calls you Hobi."
"She's my best friend, and she has a boyfriend named Namjoon.
"Also, I'm not interested in girls."
Sehun nudged his nose into Hoseok's neck, and he had to fight a low sigh from escaping his mouth.
"Thank God for that," he says.
Something ignited in Hoseok that made him turn his head towards the black-haired boy who was now looking up with doe eyes that gleamed with curiosity.
Surely enough, their lips connected and moved at a slow, steady pace against each other. Sehun placed his hand on Hoseok's abdomen for support as the redhead moved his upwards to softly grip his nape.
"S-Sehun," Hoseok stuttered as he pulled away from the kiss.
"I like you, Hoseok."
"I like you, too."
