I didn't want to leave Kouen at all, just the way he held me and comfort Esra was enough to make me happy. He had taken time away from his studying and training just to be with me. My reading had gotten better and my handwriting was legible. He was teaching me how to write and speak in his home language. I was even able to learn from his brothers Koumei and Kouha.

"All of this is," Koumei says while pointing to a large figure on the map. "Belongs to the Reim empire."

My eyes widen in amazement. "From here," I pointed and dragged my finger to the other side of the paper. "To here... That is the Reim empire?"

Koumei nods, before pointing to the another large figure of land. "That is our home: the Kou empire."

"You all rule over those lands?" I ask. Earning a smirk from my teacher for the day. "Do any of you grow envious of the other?"

"We each serve a purpose in our Empire. " Kouha, the youngest brother says while sitting next to me. " My brothers and sisters all do what we can to not fight one another."

I nod to myself. "That is very...kind. To not fight your siblings for power, and respect one another. It's very amazing to know that such ideas exist still."

The boys had exchanged looks , while I continued to look at the map. "Where's Sindria and Parthevia?" I ask. Koumei pointed to the small island, and a then at another island. Sindria was so small compared to the other two, and yet Sinbad had worked so hard to make it come to life. This was my home, Since I couldn't go back to Tison village.

This is no excuse for the way he's treated you! While he was creating a country, you looked out for him! You watched him rest and fixed his meals, and he hurts you. Time after Time after Time.

But I had done that out of love. I loved Sinbad, and I wanted to make sure he was strong enough to see his country as a King.

He never loved you, then. He saw you as a sex object, and never once had he seen your heart. Never once has he told you that he deeply loves you, yet he expects you to love him also. Kouen is growing into you, he truly cares for you. He's also a terrible liar.

I looked up as the door opened and Kouen had entered the room. My heart skipped a beat as he scanning the room: mostly books, papers, empty plates that once had gooey cake, tea cups, soldiers would stand by the window with innocent grins but stiffed when he had came.

"I should leave," I stood on my feet and backed away from the table, I bowed my head politely, thanking them for their time. I turned to leave ,- but Kouen was there. His eyes trained on me. I can see the same man that kissed me in his room. The same person I wanted to be close to, and love. I had gave him a smile, and pulled my hair behind my ear. Kouen had nodded, and stepped aside, letting me leave. His eyes trailing behind me, I can feel them .

I went further down the hall and sighed, only to slowly down my footsteps as Sinbad had walked through the halls. Valerie was holding his hand, but he saw me and he was walking slower. I didn't want to look at him, and I had walked passed him without acknowledging his presence.

"Hey," I looked over my shoulder and saw Valerie pulling onto my shirt. Bring me close to her face, where I could smell her disgusting scent, or was it Sinbad I smelt. " In case you weren't looking, Sinbad had just walked past you... apologize for not seeing him and greet him properly."
