Hi my name is Jo McCall. I always start my day off arguing with my little brother Scott.

"Hey give it back." Scott says as he runs after me. I run in my room and shut the door. I look at his phone, the only person he ever talks to is his best friend Stiles. I gave it back to him. It was my last day of junior year in highschool and Scott's last day of eighth grade.

Later at school.......

I go to my locker and I get my stuff for Mr. Harris. I see a boy, he is just looking at me. Staring into my soul with his green eyes. I knew who he was, I just didn't remember his first name. His last name was Hale.

"Hi." Samantha said, she has been my best friend since kindergarten. She also Stiles' sister.

"Hey Sammie."

"Do you know that Derek Hale is staring at you?" She said

"Yes I do."

"You know he is popular." She said

"And why should I care?"

"Because he's hot." She said

"Hey guys, do you notice Derek is staring at you?" Janice said, she is also another one of my friends from kindergarten

"Yes. I realize that."

"She doesn't care." Samantha said

"She should because he's hot." Janice said

"Anyway its not like he's gonna ask me out."

"He doesn't look at any other girl like that. Except Paige." Janice said

"It was tragic what happened to her." Samantha said

"We were friends for 3 years. At least I still have my best friends for life."

"Yeah." They said

In chemistry class.... 

I walk into chemistry class and sit where ever. Then there were no more chairs except the one next to me. The same boy comes in and sits next to me.

"Hi." He said.

"Hey."

"I'm Derek." He said

"I know, I'm Jo."

"Do you wanna catch a movie with me?" He asked.

"Like A Date?"

"No, like just two Friends hanging out." He said.

"So A date."

"OK fine like a date." He said.

"What time?" I said as a smile grew on his face

"At 7, I'll pick you up." He said

"I'll meet you."

"OK than meet me by the Beacon Hills Reserve." He said

"OK." I said as the bell rang

"See you later." He said

"Wait.", I said as he turn around and faced me, " Why do you like me so much?"

"Your different, and beautiful." He said as he walked away
