I feel that the song in a way got jipped in purple rain movie , yes it does get talked about, but I truly believe that if you didn't have the shocking moment of Darlin Nikki or the super emotional moment of Purple Rain itself that the beautiful ones moment would've be even more talked about. I feel that Prince was so in his element with that performance. The only person I have seen that expressed how I felt is Wendy when she talked about how in tune he was, saying . " You are so good". The song is so intimate and I felt it was performed perfect in that way. All the perfomance are great, but I kept playing the beautiful ones performance in the movie the most. I'am surprise my dvd don't skip in that area 😂😂😂😂, so yeah just wanted to show this awesome performance some love 💗
