Chapter 9: For now

Candy .

I swear I missed Trey already. I know we've only been dating a month but I think I love him but, I'm not saying anything until he does. The next day, I decided to hang with Kerri to catch up cause I've been spending so much time with Trey I was missing out! We met up at Applebee's.

"Hey baby!" She said giving me a hug, "Hey!" She sat down, "For starters, me & Aug been seeing each other but his baby momma gone be a issue!" I laughed, "baby mama drama a bitch." She gave me a look, "I understand she's Brey's mom but, she need to move the on. I took her place, shit." I shook my head and laughed, "did you tell him this?" She sighed, "girl, no." I sat back, "girl tell him, don't let drama ruin y'all relationship to be." She was about to start again but I stopped her, "Girl, any-who what else is up?" She laughed, "Oh girl! Andrea & Chris need to just go ahead and get together!" I slapped my hand on the table, "What?" She laughed, "Yes! They'll tell you they're just friends but, they so cute together!" We just laughed and talked some more until we received our food. I'm happy I had made some close friends here, I'm happy they were my roommates!

August Alsina .

"Get your fat ass off me, girll!" I yelled. "Nigga, I ain't fat!" I pushed Andrea off me. She had been trying to cheer me up since I told her my situation. She told me I needed to talk to Kerri to see how she was feeling, I agreed. "Welp, since I'm fat let's go eat!" She pleaded. "Okay. Okay. Man, but you driving!" She grabbed my keys, "Your BMW!" I sucked my teeth, "Man, this time."

I grabbed a sleeping Aubrei in her car seat and slid some money in my pocket. I put on my jacket and we headed Applebee's. Andrea was talking my head off about lords know what! I wasn't listening to anything she said though , haha. We've grown so close. She feels like family now.

"We're here!" She said parking. "And alive." I joked. I grabbed Aubrei and went inside behind Andrea. As soon as we walked in, I noticed Candy and Kerri in a booth to the right, "Well, look who it is." Andrea said. I again followed behind her over to them.

Andrea .

I had no idea Candy or Kerri would be here but, I must have been a sign for them to talk. Apparenly, neither one of them knew how to start so, after we all finished eating I convinced them I ride back in the same car & I took August's bomb ass BMW. I also took Aubrei, she was no trouble. Candy and I rode together but she was in the back playing with Aubrei.

Candy .

"Can we go to Trey's?" She shrugged, "I'm down." She made a couple turns and continued to play with Brey. When we got there I tried to call Trey but he wouldn't answer. I knocked a couple times but no answer still. I got worried, "What if something's wrong?" Andrea comforted me, "I'ma call Chris alright?"

Kerri .

At the red light, "Um.. Nice weather?" I said making August laugh, "Kerri, I'm sorry." I faked a smile, "It's fine." he smiled, "you're my number 2 girl." I don't think I got that, "Huh?" He laughed, "After Aubrei. But forreal, I should've believed you when you said something was wrong with Brielle. I'm going to fight for full custody and I need you by my side." I smiled for real this time and grabbed his hand that wasn't on the wheel. "I'm not going no where." He smirked, "Kiss me." I leaned in and he came the rest of the way pecking my lips. "I like you." He said and I smiled, "and I like you." Then, the light turned red and we went back to his place.

Trey Songz .

I was at Victoria's house as she explained to me over and over how her kid was mine. I was trying to speed up this process because Candy kept on calling me. I had to ignore it because I didn't want no drama. "Look stop bullshitting me!" I yelled. "I'm not!" she said calmly. I laughed. "Victoria, you was fucking different niggas at the same time. You not sure if it's mine! Holla' at me in 9 months, man!"

I walked out of that never needing conversation and went back to my car to call Candy back, "Hey baby, I'm sorry I had no signal...at the bar." I heard the worry leave her, "Okay! I was getting worried but, I'm outside your house. I wanted to surprise you." I awed. "alright, i'm on my way. stay there." With that I headed back to my apartment, Victoria had me fucked up!

Once I arrived, I noticed more people than I expected. Everyone was here except August and Kerri. I saw groceries, "Family party?" I laughed greeting everyone and letting them in. "might as well be, Aug & Kay on the way." Chris said. "Ha, cool with me." I walked in the kitchen, "We're cooking, babe." Candy told me when I walked in. I pecked her lips then, Aubrei began crying.

Andrea .

"I'll get her!" I said grabbing a stinky baby. "help me!" I laughed to Chris. But, he didn't know what to do so she just watched as I changed her diaper. "You're going to be a great mother, one day." I laughed, "Thanks, Chris." I finished up and handed her off to Chris. She just smiled and squirmed as he baby-talked. I smiled, "And your going to be a great father someday." He looked up at me, "We'll see." I ignored that little comment and went on to the kitchen to help cook.

Kerri.

Me and August hit Walmart for some snacks. The whole time we were goofing off, kissing and stuff. I was starting to really fall for him. Once, we arrived to Trey's the guys were watching the game and the girls were cooking, typical. I spoke to the guys and then went to help out my girls.

"I see what you're talking about now!" I told Kerri. "huh?" Andrea said confused, I laughed, "You and Chris! The flirting!" She denied it all the way, "What? No!" We both laughed at her lies, "Girl, we can see it in your eyes!" We joked.

She just kept on denying it and we just kept laughing. We finished up the food and everyone sat around to eat. I just watched August with Aubrei. He was an amazing father and he deserved to beat Brielle in court. I knew he would. They say babies should be wit their mothers but in this case he was good for her.
