Chapter 3: The unlikely hiding place.
"Hang on!" Keash called as the bulky, lumbering monolith of a star ship called IMV Breda crossed from the space lane into the chaos and mayhem of the asteroid field. On the view screen the Nova's phaserbank's blue beams lashed out and Keash winced expecting them to connect to the Breda's shields.
As the forward windows showed said twin beams shoot past and connect with one of the thousands of asteroids Keash let out a sigh of relief. Inexplicably though the lighting dimmed just for a second and a shudder ever so slightly sent a tremble through the seat Keash knew all to well. "What the..."
On the view screen the Nova, already slowing their speed knowing the asteroid field would be to dense and to chaotic for them to traverse without taking damage, suddenly rocked from the impact of phased disruptor pulses Keash knew the Breda just fired. "Ahrund STUN THAT IDIOT!" Keash called out as he turned to face Derf. Before he'd completely turned the Alien was unconscious and slumped over in the chair.
