Kai grabbed the mail out of the mail box there was a ton. It wasn't long after the defeat of the SOS and he didn't think anything of the tons of mail. He easily split the mail and handed everyone there the mail. "Hey we got something from the new princess..." he opened the letter quickly.

Lloyd was slightly bored so he opened his letter. On top of it says Congratulations on your engagement to the princess whom you will formally meet at the ball as a token for saving the city. Lloyd was in shock he heard his friends gasp. But he was engaged...to a princess?!

Cole frowned "wait isn't Harumi a princess? She sent these to mess with us or did she really get pardoned because of all this mess?"

Jay shook his head "no! She couldn't have! Wait does that mean Lloyd will have to stop being a ninja and be king?"

Zane frowned "I am afraid so..but who agreed to his marriage clearly he did not by the look on his face alone.

Wu smiled as he walked into his students confused faces "ah they are here, your mother agreed to it Lloyd she said it would be good for you and that the new princess was a peach."

Lloyd instead fainted at the thought of marrying someone he had never met. It felt so terrible he wanted love not this!

Wu frowned "he will get used to the idea..." he said sadly.

Misako smiled brightly "oh there it is! Son you will not believe it you got picked out of a lot of people who were in consideration-" she looked at him and frowned "he fainted or did he go into a coma?"

Zane smiled "he has only fainted."

Cole sighed and picked him up "I got him" he took him to his room and laid him down. He went out to join the others who were trying to think of ways to get Lloyd out of the engagement. "Well we could fake his death?"

Jay shook his head "too messy. We could tell them he's not royalty? Maybe that will work?"

Cole glared at him "hey idiot they know that already."

Misako glared at all of them "this is my sons one true chance to be happy. None of you will be getting him out of this engagement. Do you understand?"

Zane frowned "misako we do not understand why must you feel as if putting Lloyd in a secret engagement is best for him when he is too young to be wed."

Misako sighed at the innocent ninjdroid "you do not know my son as well as you think you do. And because of my husbands antics when he was little there is no way you 5 could know what's really going on. So please stay out of this decision. I gave the butlers and maids plenty of evidence that it would be beneficial for not only Lloyd and the princess but for ninjago as a whole."

Nya scratched her head "does this make him a prince?"

Wu smiled "yes, the title will officially be passed down a few weeks. They need a king soon."

Nya smiled "okay."

Kai frowned he knew what she would try and sighed. This was going to be a while.
