Isa akong noble as one might say, my father is the highly respected owner of one of the most progressive businesses around.
Connor Industries, fashion lines, models, shoes, bags, you name it.
Sa mundong kinamulan namin ay may tinatawag kaming destined soulmate.
It appears on one's wrist and his or her soulmate's as well.
Father was very disappointed in finding out that my older brother's soulmate had been a guy as well. He had no choice but to accept that fact.
As for me, di ko pa kilala soulmate ko.
It's a tradition in the family to marry their soulmates, since not marrying their destined soulmates were bad luck.
Most of my friends had already found their soulmates, while others, like me, have not. Having a soulmate is an unconscious choice, it can appear anytime and anywhere.

But i'm rambling.
Unlike my father, who has interest in fashion, for men of course, and publicity, I prefer the secluded life away from society.
Kung nakita niyo lang kung gaano ka disappointed si papa nung nalaman niyang iba soulmate ko.
Oh, didn't I explain?
3 years ago I was engaged to a guy, his family was rich of course and he hadn't yet had found his soulmate.
Meanwhile, I still didn't have my tattoo.
My father had hoped that he, the guy I was engaged to, will somehow become my soulmate as well.
But fortunately, one time at dinner, I felt my wrist burn up as a tattoo was engraved onto my skin.
A symbol of birds flying freely, how ironic.

Often times I thought of running away to escape destiny, but fate always has it's own ways of turning back.
