Keaton is in the hospital
Today was another day spent by your boyfriend's side in the Hospital. Keaton, your boyfriend for about three years now has been in the hospital for the past three months due to a major car crash he was in. The doctor's were surprised at how fast Keaton has been recovering considering how badly he was injured from the accident. Keaton got major whiplash, bruises on certain parts of his brain, three broken ribs, shattered knee, two broken wrists and so many more that you can't even list them all. Keaton has been through several procedures just to stay alive. Keaton has been in a coma this whole time.
"Keaton, baby, you're gonna be alright I believe in you. Just please stay with me." you say to him while holding his hand tightly. You told Keaton this every day because you still believed that he would hopefully wake up sooner or later from the coma.
As you were silently sobbing beside Keaton's bed in a chair, you felt his hand that you were holding start to move. You look up to see the love of your life start to wake up, and you couldn't help but smile.
"Mmmmmmmm" Keaton moans due to all the pain.
"Hi baby, how are you feeling?" you ask in hopes of trying to comfort him.
"Y/N? Where am I?" He says as he tries to sit up on his own.
"Keaton babe, relax" you say as Keaton lays back down. You go to the other side of his bed to push the button on the hospital bed that will make him sit up.
Once you get him sitting up in his bed, you tell him everything that happened. The car accident, the long coma, the procedures, everything. Keaton just sits there in complete shock as you tell him what happened and was about to respond until the doctor came in.
"Well well well, look who's finally awake! Mr. Stromberg I am Dr. Walder, the one who has been taking care of you for the past three months." She says as she goes to shake Keaton's hand. Keaton let's go of your hand for five seconds to shake back but then immediately intertwines his fingers with yours.
"Keaton, you are truly one lucky man. Y/N has been by your side for the past three months keeping an eye on you while I'm not around. I've even had to send her home just to get more sleep and to clean up" Dr. Walder says as she gestures to you.
Keaton looks at you and says "Yeah, I truly am." and takes the hand that he's holding and kisses it. By now you have a huge smile on your face with tears streaming down your cheeks. Keaton wipes them away with his free hand as the doctor begins to speak again.
"Well Keaton considering how fast you've been recovering and how well your test results are turning out, you should be heading home in no time." Dr. Walder says and then walks away.
"Y/N, thank you... for everything. I knew you would always be there for me, but not to this extent. I don't know how I will ever repay you." Keaton says.
"Keaton of course I'd be here for you. I love you with everything in me and I will never leave your side." You say as you stroke his cheek. You both share a deep and passionate kiss and then you soon fall asleep in Keaton's arms.
Within weeks, Keaton is released from the hospital and finally gets to go to your shared home. A couple of days later Keaton finally finds a way to repay you... and that is with an engagement ring.
