Emily's POV
I heard the smashing glass coming from downstairs. I knew that Nash still had feelings for me, but I never knew that his feelings were this strong. I stayed locked in my room scared for my life. The police were on their way but who knows how long it was going to take. I pulled out my phone and quickly texted my best friend Jack
Emily: Help...Nash is breaking into my house what should I do?
Jack: Hang tight...I'm on my way over
Jack has been my best friend since the first grade. He has always been there for me when I needed it. Recently though, I've been starting to have feelings for him, but I could never tell him. What if he is weirded out cause after all he is my best friend. My thoughts were interrupted by a violent pounding on my bedroom door
"Emily...open this door right now" a voice screamed. It was Nash. I can't believe he had the audacity to break into my house. "I'm still in love with you" he exclaimed. I stayed quiet not saying a word. He pounded on the door again screaming "Emily I know your in there don't act like I don't know". Still, I remained quiet. Nash then said "You wanna play that way? Fine...we'll play that way". Then, I heard him using what sounded like an ax to break down the door. I didn't know what to do. I acted as fast as I could and hid under my bed. Nash managed to then get the door down. My heart began to pound as I heard his footsteps getting closer and closer to me. All of a sudden, I heard the sound of another pair of footsteps enter my room. Next thing I know, I hear the sounds of Nash getting punched and screaming for mercy. "Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me!" he screamed. Then, he went silent and I heard a voice call out for me, "Emily? Emily where are you?". It was Jack!!
