🌹Kenzie's POV 🌹 Right now I'm talking to Lauren. Well really she's talking to me because she won't let me get a word in. "You can NOT like him! What about Alex!" She was yelling. I had told her that I have feelings for Johnny... because I do. And Alex is my new boyfriend since yesterday. It's a long story.. "Ok! I get it! Can I go now!?" I yelled back. "Yes." She replied calmly. I walked out of her room and into Brandon's. I was basically crying. Brandon knows about my feelings for him and he's been giving me advice. "What should I do?" I asked. "Oh sweetie come here." He held out his arms and ran to him. He hugged me tight. "Well why don't you just break things off with Alex then you can be with Johnny." He suggested. "But what if Johnny doesn't like me? I'm never going to tell him" I argued. "Than at least he'll have the opportunity to make a move." He said making me laugh. "Thanks. Well I'm gonna go to sleep, goodnight." I said. I walked out of his room and into mine and fell to sleep.
I woke up to the smell of pancakes coming from downstairs. I quickly got up and ran downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and saw pancakes sitting on the counter. I grabbed the plate and started to eat it. "Hey that's mine!" Someone yelled snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up and saw a wet Johnny. "Why are you soaking wet?" I asked. "Morning swimming..." he lied. I raised my eyebrow. "Ok fine! I fell in. Happy?" He asked. I just laugh. "So why are you eating my food?" He asked. "Never leave pancakes unattended when I'm around." I state. "Can I have them back?" He asked. "No." He started walking towards me and tried to take the plate. I pulled away and ran. He chased after me. Eventually he caught me but I had finished eating. "You ate it all?!" He yelled. I nodded because I couldn't stop laughing. "You know it's bad to go in the pool after you at." He said with a smirk on his face. "What?" I asked. He picked me up and walked outside. "Johnny! No put me down!" I screamed. "If you say so." He dropped me in the pool but I pulled him with me. When we raised to the surface our faces were only inches apart. My breathing quickened. "What the heck is going on here?!" Lauren screamed. I was snapped out of my thoughts and took a step back Johnny did the same. Lauren was pissed. "Your brother threw me in the pool." I said quickly. "Why?" She questioned. "He left his pancakes out so I ate them." I said with a shrug. She turned to Johnny. "You're so stupid." She said with a scoff before walking inside. I look over my shoulder to Johnny before getting out. I go upstairs and take a shower and get ready for the day. I change into this...

I walked downstairs and grabbed my keys. I was going to Starbucks. "Where you going?" I turned around to see Johnny. "Starbucks. Wanna come?" I asked. "Sure." He put his shoes on and we walked out to my car. When we got to Starbucks I stopped right as I walked into the building. "What's wrong?" Johnny asked noticing my facial expression. He followed my sad stare to where I was looking. "Who's that?" He asked. "My boyfriend." I said mad. He was making out with some other girl. I walked over to the cashier. "Hi how can I help you today?" She asked. "Can I have 4 pink drinks and..." I turned to Johnny. "I'll have an ice coffee." He finished. "Ok will that be all?" She asked. We both nodded. Then we walked over to a table. "Why'd you get 4?" He asked. "You'll see." I said. When the drinks were ready I asked Johnny to hold them. I took one of the pink drinks and walked over to Alex's table. I tapped him on the shoulder and he looked up at me. "Oh... umm... Kenzie. This isn't what it looks like..." he lied. I rolled my eyes. "Really because it looks like you just lost one of your girlfriends." I poured my drink on him before running out pulling Johnny with me. When we got to the car we were both laughing. When we got home we were still laughing but not as hard. "What's so funny?" Lauren asked when we walked through the door. I calmed myself down. "Well... it's not really funny... unless you were there..." I said. "What was it?" She asked. "Well I poured a pink drink on Alex." I said simply. "What?! Why?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "He was cheating on me. Duh." "Oh... can I talk to you for a sec?" "Sure." She pulled me into the kitchen. "Just because you and Alex broke up doesn't mean you can go for Johnny. He may be older then me but I'm still protective of him." She said. "Ok." I said before grabbing my pink drink and running upstairs. I sat and watched Netflix until like 12 in the morning. I couldn't sleep so I turned on the pool lights and sat with my feet in the water and just... cried. "What are you doing out hear?" I heard someone ask. I quickly wipe my tears away and turn around to see Johnny. "Umm.. just... thinking." I replied. "Can I sit with you?" He asked. I nodded and he sat next to me. "Are you ok?" He asked. I turn to look at him. I stare into his emerald green eyes and shrug. "I understand why your sad." He said. " you probably don't." I argued. "Yes I do. Had a girlfriend who cheated on me." "Tell me about it." "Well... her name was Nadia turner.. she was Lauren's best friend... we dated for a couple years then I caught her making out with this guy named mark. That's why Lauren and her aren't friends anymore." He said. "Because she cheated on you?" I asked. "Yeah... and mark was her boyfriend at the time." He said. "So that's why she's so protective over you." I mumble hoping he wouldn't hear. "Yeah I guess."So he heard.... I look back up at him and we stare into each other's eyes. Before I knew it I planted my lips on his and he kissed back. Within seconds someone turned the outside lights on. We look behind us and saw Lauren. "Kenzie!" She yelled. "Omg Lauren! I'm so sorry!" "Kenzie I thought I told you!" I stood up and she pulled me into a room. "Kenzie I swear to god! Why the hell did you kiss him after I told you-" she started. "I'm sorry ok? I was just caught up in the moment..." I said. "No you weren't you were just trying to use him as a rebound." "I was not! Is that the kind of person you think I am?!" I yelled. "No... but I don't want him to get hurt again." "I'm not going to hurt him! And it's not like he like me.." I state. "Then why would he kiss back?" "Because he felt bad that I was just freaking cheated on!" "I don't think that's what it was." Someone said from behind me. I turn around to see Johnny. "I'll leave you two alone." Lauren said before walking out.
